I agree Aaliyah was very good at what she did--and to my UTTER DISMAY my friend, who works in the entertainment industry, told me that Beyonce is actually a STUDIO artist most of her performances are pre-recorded with ad libs (hence an all female band to do closeups on them and her dancers and pan-outs with very little closeups on Beyonce herself). I was utterly broken because after watching LOTS of performances my friend was right--I still love her, I'm just shocked at the truth. I loveu B!!

I agree Aaliyah was very good at what she did--and to my UTTER DISMAY my friend, who works in the entertainment industry, told me that Beyonce is actually a STUDIO artist most of her performances are pre-recorded with ad libs (hence an all female band to do closeups on them and her dancers and pan-outs with very little closeups on Beyonce herself). I was utterly broken because after watching LOTS of performances my friend was right--I still love her, I'm just shocked at the truth. I loveu B!!
