Ok so you got this ballin setup and everything is ok right up until you get to the monitor. What are you doing kid. I mean come on not only do you have it water cooled, but you also have your cable management all pretty and tidy, and you got the nice keyboard and mouse. You really need to get a new monitor dude. Anyway great job on the system. I especially like those emblemed fittings. Next you gotta include that gpu in the loop.

Well done sir nice and clean inside not full of fingerprints all over. I my self have my PC hooked up to a TV there is no problem with that i get such a great time with that setup. i play some flight simulators and some games to. TV works great. it's a basic 32" TV 720p but i love it but if people wanna hate let them hate :)

Depends, the coolant will evaporate in a small quantity over time, and as of now it dropped about 2 inches down in the reservoir from the level you see in this video. That's almost 2 years by now, so it drops really slowly.

I could top it off to the original level, but I'm planning on upgrading the whole system by the end of the year to socket 2011, so I'm not bothering with it at all till I upgrade the computer and the cooling system.

@Awayze They do it so that it is easily accessible for people that like hot swapping or changing parts. And in this case, it is done so that he can see the beautiful interior of the case, which is why the computer has a window in the first place.

dude, what have you used to "light" your system?? only the 30cm (i guess) long red neaon on the right at 1:53 ?? answer me please it's very important!

yes, at 1:53 the space between the reservoir and 5.25 bays is light up by the LOGISYS 12 inch (30cm) cathode . I got 2 of them the one in vertical position next to the reservoir ,and on on the bottom next to the window panel. Also my 120mm fans have red LEDs , but they don't produce enough light by themselves to light up the interior.

The monitor is not a tv, its a CRT monitor tho both used same technology for 2 different purposes. Its a GDM-FW900 one of the best monitors ever produced, its still used by professionals in CAD, 3D design, Animators, Photo and Video Editors ( companies such as PIXAR use them for the most accurate colors)

If you search online, preferably on Ebay, used ones are still going for around 600-1000 dollars in decent condition.

Its called a Compression Fitting, there is few different companies making them today. Its much more expensive then traditional barbs, but like you said it does look nicer.

You should have used UV cold cathodes not red one. With UV CCFL the liqiud would lit up nicely. I have a red fans,red liquid with deep blue UV and it looks just amazing.This UV light ... ahh.

I did use UV cold cathodes for couple of days, but personally I didn't like the effect, I don't know why its mostly a personal taste. But then again I seen my friends rig and he has blue theme with UV's, and it looked fantastic.

Its a Sony GDM-FW900 24 inch CRT Monitor , and one of the best PC monitors ever made, Discontinued around 2003-04, to this day its used by Professionals in 3d design/art/rendering( Pixar for example) for its outstanding quality in picture and fine resolution, there are still places where its sold used/refurbished from 400-800 Dollars, when it was new it went for around 2500$. tho almost 100 pounds, It is heavy. :)

Its very rare, you can check out a 285 page thread at HARDOCP forum.
