  • that is a really cool video

  • One of the Greatest Jeep/Moab vids! :) LIKE ;)

  • how much does cost each one of the tires ???

  • @berrada99 i suppose it depends on which tire you are asking about

  • @wayalife Donno, It was just a curiosity , because simple 4x4 tires are very expensive , so those on the Wrangler seems to be very special because they are very big , so ...anyways....

  • What part of Alaska is this? Alaska's Hall road is how I got into jeeps. I drove a Dodge Caravan to the arctic circle from Los Angeles. It was not the same Van I started with when I got home. It was down 1 wind shield 2 tiers The gauges did not work. well you get the picture.Saw a lot of 4 wheelers. there was a bunch of jeeps in a line. well that is when the Jeep bug bit. this is another great video. Thank for sharing Alaska.

  • @kowz4u sorry, but i think the reference to alaska was made because of how cold it was that day. we were in moab, ut.

  • @wayalife Oh I must have gotten distracted watching all the jeeps. well one day I do want to go for a drive through Moab. Thanks again.

  • i just bought a jeep and wana do some rock crawling but i need to know whats the best lift i can get for this??

  • @creepiestcat "best" is relative and to a degree, subjective. the question you really need to be asking is, how much of a budget do you have to work with.

  • Nice Video... That poor green jeep needs lockers, haha!

  • Save @ 7:17 lol. Also Bad Religion ftw.

  • 7:25 LOOL

  • I wonder how the guy with the hummer feels being showed up by rigs less then half the price of his rig. Jeeps all the way man, there is nothing better...

  • I love Jeeps and plan on buying a new Rubi as soon as I can. The only turn off is that underpowered 3.8v6. I've drove a friends 09 rubi and its a lion on trails but kittin on the highway. I know they are designed for rough terrain and not highway use but for 30k+ they could of beefed up the engine some. All the hard plastic in the interior is pretty horrid too.

Even with all that I am getting one. So much fun to drive and I can't wait for winter and snow.

  • @Jobe79 the 3.8 is underpowered for sure but, there are a few things you can do to help it out. a superchips flashpaq will help out and if you're running bigger tires, regearing will do wonders.

  • @wayalife yeah I got 37's with 5.38 gears and a superchips and on takeoff the whole jeep lurches back as I take off the line. every now and then the engine is hunting for power but most of the time the thing climbs hills accelerating.....definitely need to spend more time cruising the forum to see when you guys are going to Moab next.

  • k buena camioneta voy a juntar pa esa !! je ;c)

  • Nice track, nice JEEPs, nice video, nice people, OIIIT's A JEEP THINGIIIO !!!

  • did i see the back of an H1?

  • Gotta Love A JEEP !!! what other vehicle can role over and get back up and drive home ?!?!? 0IIII0

  • Gotta Say Nice Video!!! In my opinion this is one of the few videos out there you can actually follow whats happening and the camera isn't jumping all over the place where you can't understand whats happening. Some Great Wheeling!!! Great Looking JK. I love my Rubi too.

Great camera angles by the way. They show the shot as it needs to be, instead of some unrealistic view that hardly shows anything.

  • suzuki samurai

  • Always thought these had the V8's in them.

  • The CJs had the V8 as an option. The YJ and TJ had either an I4 or I6 as an option, and the JK only has the 3.8 V6.

  • How did Jen and Jeff's X edition do?

One more question. Does the X come with the front electric sway bar disconnects?

  • they did quite well as they always do. regarding the edisco, no, they do not come with it but i have heard of people special ordering them with their x

  • X does not come w/ elec sw disco. But the Rubi does :)

  • What year did they start putting the elec disc sway and elec lockers on the rubi? I subscribed so please email or let me know :D did that come in after they switched to the 3.8L?

  • 2007

  • new wrangler rubicon is just right, i love the land rover defender but for the first time it is obsolete when compared to wrangler .... the f/r lockers and transfer ratio of 4:1 is just FANTASTIC

  • that white jeep is badass!

  • what size lift kit does the white rubicon unlimited have??

  • full traction 4" ultimate lift - running 37x13.50's

  • awesome video!

  • just saw you guys at the moab diner and on poison spider , alot of people came out this year.....

  • ok***

  • so if i got a 2.5 inch im out

  • if you mean you'd be fine without long arms, yes, you will not need them.

  • hi i was wondering if you got a 2 inch lift on a wrangler unlimited would you need a long arm suspension?? cmb

  • no. you don't even need a long arm kit if you have a 4" lift. at about 6", that's when you want to start thinking about long arms.

  • im a new owner of a '09 ruby and am wondering how well a stock ruby can handle this place...4dr btw

  • being that you have lockers, you should be able to do some of the trails without too much trouble but the rest might be quite a challenge.

  • you could but its gonna be hard

  • That was awesome. Great job on the video.

  • What is the first song?

  • it is listed in the credits at the end of the video

  • why do people give JK's crap again. I'm pretty sure this is proof enough.

  • You people put together a real nice video.

  • Gawd, I wish I had a Jeep!!!

  • Great video. I've never been into this kind of stuff but one of my friends linked it as he's really into the Jeep off-roading (I think he mentioned being part of JK maybe, even?) Whatever the case, looks like an awesome extreme motoring sport, and I just wanted to say keep up with the fun!

  • Would you perfer to drive automatic or manual

    transmission?

  • i prefer to drive a manual as it is the only thing i really know how to drive but an auto is much easier to use on the rocks.

  • what kind of tires where you runing and what size?

  • me (the white 4-door rubicon), i'm running 37x13.50 toyo mt's.

  • i would kill to have my jeep back that I had to sell! I had a 97 TJ 6.0l 4wd with a 6" skyjacker rock ready susp system with 35x12.50x15 goodyear wrangler mtrs, detroit lockers, arb bumpber with a warn industrial 3000-6000lb wench, a cd radio with 8' whip antenna, 2 hella 500's on it and 2 piaa 250's up on the sides of my winshield with a safari roof rack with a 48" hi lift jack with flowmaster muffler. I have a truck now and puttin a 6" fabtech susp lift 305/70r/17 goodyear wranlger mtrs soon!

  • that sucks

  • what are the songs called?

  • So can you really tell a diff. in performance offroad with a 4 door compared to a 2 door.

  • It depends on the situation. The 4dr. can be better for steep hill climing because the front end will stay down better.

  • that poor lady in the green jk couldnt make it up anything. Thanks for the vid guys!

  • Hey! I made it up most of the stuff. Considering I was the only jeep without lockers, I thought I did pretty well. LOL! Wait until next year...

  • Nice mix.

    Have fun out there.

    OIIIIIIIO

  • great vids . a little bad religion!!!!! see ya

    mike g

    cj2a11713 from the jk-forum.

  • Cool vid. Only one question... A Hummer? What's it doing with the Jeeps?

  • lol!! it belongs to ox brand lockers and it was just sitting on the side of the trail. at the time, it was the best anchor that we could find :)

  • not to say anything bad but, lady with green hair you should slow down on those trails a bit because when you went over that rock in the start of the vid without that rock slider your body/frame would have been all bent up but good job and have fun 4 wheeling

  • Yeah..I hear ya. I learned throttle control on that trip. I have done much better since then. And that's what the rails are for. ;)

  • whats the specs on the black rubicon as far as engine lift tires and such

  • stock 3.8L v6 engine, currie rock jock suspension system (5" front/3" rear), 35" Cooper SST tires.

  • Thats badass! I actually seen my XJ a couple of times. Hell of a trip!!

  • cool trip.....the new 2008 jeep is neat, but is there a 2 door model for it, the 4 door makes it look abit bulky

  • great job!

  • Very cool! Great video!

  • awsome video once again!

  • I Love the Green hair. Is that WayoLifette?

    Rock ON Girl!

  • naw, that would be toad!

wayoflifette is the gal behind the camera :)

  • way of life, do you still have the stock axles on your jk?

  • i did but now have chromoly fronts and will get rears put in as soon as i find time.

  • just wondering, cuz soon(hopfully by the end of summer) will be putting a 3" lift and 35"s. will i run into problems with that heavy of a tire/wheel combo with stock axles?

  • Naw, you should be just fine. I had run that combo for about a year and had no problems. granted, i do have a dana 44 up front but i do know lots of guys with a dana 30 and that setup as well.

  • cool, thanks man. this is going to be my first jeep that i have lifted and put bigger tires on. i wanted to on my old cherokee, but never had the money

  • SICK VIDEO! I hope to Attend a Meet this summer!

  • that was quite sick!! i wish my jeep was built like some of those are i envy you guys

  • Toadally Awesome! You guys ROCK!!! Well..ok....I rocked! LMAO! Excellent video as always. I had a blast on the rock and can't wait to go back next year and do it again.
