no they made a differnt mario show super mario brothers 3 the cartoon show and they dropped this

In 1988-1989, the Super Mario Bros Super Show- with SMB1 and SMB2 based cartoon segments, live action segments, and Zelda episodes on Fridays- ran, then the series was sort of reformatted/replaced with the Adventures of SMB3, then after that it became Super Mario World. That got cancelled after 13 episodes (half a season) whereas SMBSS ran two seasons and SMB3 ran for one.

Only SMBSS had live action segments, and Lou Albano and Danny Wells. The other shows had Koopa Kids and new voices.
