Listen to the Manics, Blur or Radiohead's first albums. None of those are groundbreaking or innovative, and they all wore their influences on their sleeves as well.

That was before they all went on to become three of the greatest bands the UK has ever produced, of course.

This is a good album, by a band who have a lot of potential.

I have to say, I've watched an interview with these lads and to be honest, they are posh idiots. But you have to admit, they can make a few good tunes. They aren't bad, nor are they anything special. They are an alright little band.

This is derivative and boring. The album lacks any kind of sonic dynamism. It kind of just plateaus on one level for the duration. Puerile vocal motifs over predictable guitar riffs and not very good ones at that. Not great musicians. And I knew they weren't being true to themselves when giving it the big "I AM" in interviews, it looked like they were saying it just to be tough, but in the end, they didn't deliver.... Want a tip? To be honest, the truth lies halfway between the relentless hating and the proclamation of brilliance. As they say themselves ''it is what it is'' - lyrical perfection it ain't but honest catchy tunes it is. They're obviously there to be shot at with regards to all their interviews and stuff, but people bursting a blood vessel saying THEY COPIED OASIS should really calm down in all honesty. It's not Shakespeare, it's Viva Brother, it is what it is.

they're a good band, i went to see them at heaven in ldn and they put on a good live show but they talk alot of shit before they did anything, so when they bring their album out people will be determined to not to listen or like it. they do sound like oasis and blur but i love both those bands so i just try and enjoy the music. every new band 'sounds like' somebody else nowadays so people should just take their shit with a pinch of salt and enjoy the music.
