  • I absolutely love matt chandler

  • Just because Mark Driscoll is able to condemn these things doesn't mean he is preaching the gospel as he should. His ministry is outright evil. He shames young men into conformity, which is not the way of the gospel. He claims he hates religion (by which he means legalism), but his ministry has more documented cases of systematic spiritual abuse and inflicted legalism than any other major church of which I know. I would rather sit under vacuous theology (Osteen) than Driscoll.

  • @bball1989,

Thank You for making/uploading this video! This world needs more people willing to stand up for God's truth.

  • Mark Driscoll you agree with this do you not??? I mean you are a big fan of T.D. Jakes - please repent Mark PLEASE - Until you do Mark we can only assume you are a fan of the prosperity gospel

  • @tprovostdia when did driscoll become a big fan of td jakes? Yes they were in the same room together and discussed some issues. But no this doesnt mean they are best buds and assume that hes a fan of prosperity gospel... he merely said he was amazed at how humble jakes was despite the critisizm he never said 'i agree'.

  • The problem with thinking the indwelling Holy Spirit makes us gods is that it completely goes against everything the bible teaches about humility. John the baptist said it perfectly.... "He must increase, I must decrease." The unfortunate thing for those who humbly evangelize and glorify God by healing others in Jesus' name (street healers for example), is that they are lumped together with those crooked televangelists who glorify themselves and steal money from God's children. A real shame.

  • @lileeslku hey, I can help you understand this more. I have answers

  • It makes me wanna vomit in listening to this prosperity in the world gospel preachers. :-&

  • 4:00 Sad that even liberal CNN owns Creflo dollar the false teacher.

  • i was wondering... is it not God's decision to decide whether people are speaking the truth or not? We don't know what's in their heart only God does.. right? Wouldn't you let God handle it? and leave it to him to decide what is right or wrong ? I am not saying anything bad, I am just confused..

  • @lileeslku Yes, it is. You shouldn't listen to people telling you what to believe. Search for yourself. Someone like Mark Driscoll is especially toxic because he speaks as if he has ultimate authority, like he is god.

  • @lileeslku

No, judgement begins in the house of God. We don't judge unbelievers, but it is our DUTY to search the scriptures (like the Bereans in the book of Acts) and test what we hear according to what God has said. This is a dismaying question you ask, and reveals a big problem: many Christians don't understand that theology matters.

  • He can. He will... But even if he doesn't!!!

  • God bless you and keep you.

  • i love joel osteen!

  • He can, He will... And even if He doesn't ... Amen!

  • amen!

  • Joyce Meyer does NOT belong on here. What was wrong with what she said in the clip? Are you kidding me? Are you trying to say God does NOT want those things for us?! John 10:10

JESUS HIMSELF SAID:I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows). God wants us to be HEALTHY and take care of our bodies. He wants us to be happy and blessed. I encourage you to listen to Joyce Meyer preach.

  • Loving God with your stuff... Idolatry at its fullest

  • Why did you splice this video? The Mark Driscoll response in this video is from another video about ''state of the pulpit'' with only a Joel Osteen video proceeding it. Please dont confuse people...

  • No, Joyce Meyer and Creflo definitely belong here. It's not simply the money with them. They preach a gospel of "Jesus will fulfill you or make you happy" and that's just not the case. The atonement isn't preached, the cross is hardly preached, and it's perverted when it is. It's moralism at best. Jesus is useless if he's ONLY our example. We must have a Savior. They don't preach that.

  • One person is still trying to speak money into being.

  • man i just wanna punch taht black pastor

i seriously wanna like beat the crap out ofhim

  • Good Job with this! Matt Chandler is AMAZING!!!

  • Justin Peters has a 3 part series on youtube, on "Discernment, exposing Word of Faith"...it is excellent. He's the guy in the video with the laptop.

  • Who was the big faced guy preaching to repent to him and he'll cleans of all unrighteousness and keep it a secret from God? The most disgusting lie of all the lies preached by these dogs

  • the thing we need to be careful about is being so against prosperity gospel that we begin to preach poverty gospel. driscoll and chandler dont preach for either one and have done sermons on this, showing wealth and poverty in the bible. driscoll categorizes them as "righteous rich" and "unrighteous rich", "righteous poor" and "unrighteous poor". god uses the wealthy and the poor.

  • @jimboslic3n They (Driscoll & Chandler ) were used as a counter-offer to thee prosperity Gospel; because they are far removed from that type of Theology.

  • Who was the man with the laptop?

  • @MasterOranda justin peters

  • @bball1989 legit man of God

  • Its a shame that we rather hear fluff than hearing mark driscoll, paul washer, John Piper, or John MacAurther...... I mean Joel Osteen is straight up satanic....

  • @BIGCHRISTIANDUDE thats a very ambiguous statement, driscoll, washer and piper would all disagree. driscoll said that perhaps osteen has the gift of encouragement. now, im not a supporter of osteen, in fact i cant stand listening to him at all. but we have to be careful with who we praise and who we condemn.

  • Wow. That's humbling faith.

  • You know, when I listened to those prosperity gospel "preachers" it made me feel like I was being used and lied to. I felt sick even listening to them. And when I listened to Matt Chandler and Mark Driscoll preaching, I just got chills up my arms. I saw how the holy spirit worked in their lives and they had a deep passion for Christ. And I just feel like getting down on my knees and begging God for forgiveness. I dont feel any of that when listening to prosperity gospel.

  • @Katalina96

    My thoughts exactly!

  • Your in my prayers Matt Chandler

  • I disagree concerning Joyce Meyer. I wish she had been left out of this. I believe hers was taken out of context. Creflo speaks the gospel; however, he tends to have a heavier focus on prosperity. Joel Osteen... I'm still undecided completely. I think he's a little TOO positive and misses the fact that Christians WILL and DO endure A LOT of suffering. At the end of the day, if it's not biblical... it's false prophecy..

  • @swtladyval I don't know Joyce Meyer, but are you serious about Creflo? He lied on live television for his own selfish ambitions. He lied about the word of God in the face of millions of people. He said that the Bible says that the young rich ruler receive 100 folds what he gave. The Bible never says the rich young ruler even sold anything. Worst than that, it doesn't say he receive anything! Whoever does such a wicked thing to save their reputation should not even be called Christian.

  • @JPNR He needs to repent of all the wicked things he has said. And all the lies he is telling his "congregation" he is sending people to hell in God's name.

  • @swtladyval

Creflo Dollar speaks the gospel? I'd be very interested in hearing your summary of what the gospel is. There is no connection between what Paul describes as the good news and anything I heard in 25 years listening to the "prosperity" teachers, who "preach" for selfish gain only. I first heard real Jesus-centered teaching 3 years ago when I started attending Mars Hill Church. Glory to God!

  • @jimboslic3n haha i dont think that could be more obvious from the video, i just couldnt fit all that in the title. sorry. but thats why i put him in here, its actually driscoll responding to the prosperity preachers.

  • @jazzscherzo this is true man. thanks for the advice, but even in context they all stand as their theology so nothing was taken out of context. also i only had 10 minutes to work with hah

  • @jazzscherzo would you say that these clips are not consistent with their theology? I think they are and i think they would admit they are also. they unabashedly preach a prosperity gospel, and I was merely juxtaposing them with the real gospel and a testimony of a great pastor who got cancer (which is sin according to the first preachers). Also, no matter if they are truthful in some areas, false teaching has to be addressed wouldnt you say? and at least these snippets, are far from biblical

  • who was the guy in the wheel chair behind the desk with the laptop

  • @inlow2 justin peters. solid preacher that specializes in prosperity theology. wrote his seminary dissertation on benny hinn crusades, he went to them to try and get healed from his cerebral palsy when he was a kid, ruined his faith, and then he came to a true knowledge of Jesus later.

  • I appreciate your desire to put something together that speaks against the false teaching of prosperity theology, but this video wasn't put together very clear. Two of the pastors appeared to be speaking against the prosperity theology; one (Pastor Mark) for sure. The pastor sitting down with the laptop, even from the editing, seems to be rebuking prosperity theology. Why not just show a video contrasting the two camps? If you did that you could include some of the passionate John Piper.

  • @Briggzillion thats what i was attempting to do. its very easy to see who is prosperity and who isnt just from tone and teaching. the beginning is scenes of prosperity theology being rebuked by justin peters (guy with laptop). then the end is showing how you can trust in Christ through suffering, because according to the beginning preachers Matt Chandler has sin in his life if he is suffering. hope that helps.

  • @bball1989 Again, I appreciate what you are trying to do, but the title of your video implies that it's a bunch of prosperity theology (including Mark Driscoll and Justin Peters) vs. Matt Chandler. I do like the video, just suggest revising the title. God Bless.

  • Mark Driscoll is not a prosperity teacher. Infact in the clip you have chosen he is rebuking the prosperity gospel that Joel Osteen teaches.

  • @ginjaninja1988 haha i know that was the whole point. he is rebuking the doctrines! i go to mars hill in seattle lol

  • @bball1989 Oh. Good. I see; I thought that might be the case but I wasn't sure. Im a huge admirer of Mars Hill Seattle and Mark Driscoll. I love pastors who tell it like it is; no dancing around and avoiding the real issues..... the Gospel is controversial by nature... let it stir up socitey; and Mark Driscoll seems good at this.

  • @ginjaninja1988 yep! i go to his church actually. i love it. super solid. the part of him preaching though is actually a clip from after he showed a scene from Osteen teaching. i just mixed it because the theology still applies.

  • does any one know how hes doing

  • Jesus said these things would happen,

but that doesn't change how disgustingly horrific these things are...

...and that many are falling for it and being deceived...

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!

  • MATT CHANDLER!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO!

  • Amen.
