The "Ceiling Hands." as you call them, are known as 'Wallmasters' called such because in the very first LoZ they came out of the walls. That and because 'ceilingmaster' doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Also it's 'Angry Sun' not "Evil Sun' Also the Angry Sun is pretty easy to take out, just one well aimed shell and he's done.

The question about how to kill the boss in Megaman has a simple answer. In megaman 1 there are enemies in the tunnel pre-boss. You can go there and simple destruct many enemies until they give to you enough energy. Respawn help you a lot.

Ok, I can see the Medusa heads (TVTropes has a trope about foes like them), and I give on the Floor/Wall/Ceiling Masters (the hands in the Zelda games that take you to the start of the dungeon)... the sun and the robot you died to in Mega Man, are you just not playing worth a hoot.

5-I fail at Castlevania too, but you should've ignored most Medusas.

4-Bad Sun can be killed real early in the level by simply holding a shell and ramming in it. Or just use reflexes.

3-He is not irritating. Your reflexes are.
