Great short exhaust - sounds sweet and revs really nicely. Also looks much better than the commercially available slip-ons which are all too long. I am looking to do exactly the same on my UK spec 2010 model, retaining the lambda sensor for the fuel injection. Did you make the silencer yourself Also how did you sort out the ECU rev limiter? Any help you can give me will be much appreciated. Thanks
The silencer is one of a pair (you can see second bike in the video). The exhaust cans are made by Scorpion & are actually for the 2006 Honda crf250r (the one with the twin exhaust cans) I needed the two matched cans for the two bikes & those were the perfect bore to match the original pipe size from the KLX. The link pipe was made by meercat exhausts (Kilbirnie) from stainless steel, Size to fit into the KLX front pipe & the lambda sensor boss was machined by me & welded in by them.
The Lambda boss was made by me on my lathe, the thread for the sensor is M12x1.25 thread pitch..
Is your bike a UK spec bike?.. If yes, you have a crap ECU like mine & another friend of myself has, that has the rev limiter that comes in at 50ish mph. PM me a message with you e mail & I will tell you what I know about the speed..

The wire you are looking for is GREEN with a RED stripe, it is connected to pin 26 on the ECU.
Send me your email address & I will send you pictures of where I did my wire cut.
