SCARIEST RIDE EVER!!!!!!!! My parents took me on this when I was 4 (Disney World) yeah, thanks mom and dad, now i'm traumatized for life! I've only gone on it 2 other times 1 other time in Disney World and once in Disneyland. I'm pretty much always the loudest screamer on this ride. Last time I went on it, I nearly collapsed getting off the ride!

We went on it last week while in florida, and durring the drop sequence, we went like all the way down, and the little ghost girl appeared. It was really cool. She was probably there for a half second, but everyone in the car was like... "THE GIRL!" and it thrust us right back up. It was amazing.

My mom and I were going to ride this again later at night. I told her about the changes and I wanted to ride it before these changes dissapeared. Too bad later in the afternoon a heavy downpour thunderstorm caused my family to leave the park earlier. Perfect timing! I'm pretty sure I would have screamed my head off because I rode it for the first time earlier that day! But that looks like fun!

I like the simple Halloween decorations we get here in CA in the Fall but I like these changes as well. I'd love it if we got to listen to music before we fell and also if the damn elevators wouldn't shake so much. Gah, I hate that!

I don't get why people act like it's a huge competition between which tower is better. The FL tower was the first so obviously when they made one in CA it would have improvements & differences. When the ride first opened there was only one big drop, & it's changed many times over the years. Disney is awsome & always keep it fresh & exciting. btw has anyone ever seen the Tokyo version at Disney Sea, it's totally different

@michelleduarte84 I've gone to the Tokyo version of the Tower of Terror. The drops were basically a turn off for me, because it wasn't what I expected it to be. As for the storyline, there's no twilight zone there; instead it goes something like this: some guy called harrison hightower, who travels the world for artifacts, finds a statue in Africa called Shiriki Untundu. Then at a press conference at the hotel he owns, "Hotel Hightower", they ask him if the statue is cursed.

The mirror effect is lame in Florida. The one in CA is really the passengers in the car moving in real time. That was a static photo in Florida and the image should have increased in size as your vehicle moved closer to the doors. Lame!

well i had been ridding that ride for about a year, i went at least 30-35 times to hollywood studios it self over the time. and now that I've switched this year to universal studios, I see disneys effort to make things more interesting. I kind of want to go and ride it again and feel the differences in person, but their very subtle. I would know, I still remember every line in the ride word for word!
