The cloud from the explosion needs be much bigger. Otherwise it seems like the person who planted the mine planted it 10 feet down.

1 problem tho...

actionmovie essentials is recorded at 60 fps.. so that means its slomotion.. you have to speed the effects up. My preference is to use time remaping.. if you dont know it.. pm me and Ill explane:D

a little too much shake if your gonna do shake to a little bit not a lot next time when you do shake only do a slight jitter instead of it seeming like hes throwing the camera between his hands

hey i have a few questions before i buy this. What is the difference between x2 and 730p? im using a low quality cam so would 720 be the one for me?? and the other thing does the camm have to be still or is the placed explosion fixed to that ground mark??? please reply soon because im hoping to buy it today. Any other beginer action essencial 2 info u can give awsell would be great. :D

2K is just a much higher resolution than 720p. Is you are just using a low quality camera then 720p will be fine. This explosion was actually composited on a still photo I took so there was no motion tracking required. I just added camera shake in AE. Hope this helps.

As long as there isn't too much motion blur in the shot you can use After Effects' built in motion tracker (If thats the program you are using). There are plenty of tutorials online on how to use it.

Thanks for the comments. I purposely left the dirt pile there before the expolsion happened so it looked like the bomb was buried there and the hole wasn't perfectly covered.
