Your welcome Don. We met a few times in the 70's, in Reno (Harrah's), and Seattle (Paramount Northwest), but I don't expect you to remember that far back.
@slpsharon To finish up on Donny's explanation.. When they asked us to do the song we said the lyrics don't really make any sense or tell a story. We got to change a few words but not enough. The producers girlfriend wrote it and she said for the Japanese audience it does not have to make sense, they just like the sounds of certain words. The producer also did not want a heavy group sound so Donny and Tony are the only ones singing two part harmony and me on top only on the bridge. G.P.
This is one of those songs that never reach the Philippines and there are plenty of them. I'm glad there is one Phil Goulding who is posting all these kind of unheard songs of The Lettermen.I'll keep on waiting.
Wow! This has Donny written all over it...if you listen really close it's his vocals that seem dominant...Right On Donny!! I gotta find this album...(hide it from my Dad again..LOL right Phil?...Kidding)
great one phil, and i think i heard donny pike in there, other records i heard in the past yrs ago i heard donny in the back i believe he was singing with them until they caught on to him and that i read in donnys web. if donny sees this comment he'll say very god observing on my part. Anne
