Renewables will absorb billions of dollars, euros, yen, what have you, to provide completely unreliable non-baseload power that we have no means to store in any type of economical manner.
We will expend billions of dollars to install windmills that use millions of tons of materials and kill wild life,
We will spend billions to produce solar energy from the most toxic of chemicals known to man, and take up thousands of acres in the process
