This is excellent music-making. Paavo Jarvi is very clever. He always opens up a new angle on the music and yet it works perfectly. Sinopoli often did the same, but sometimes it did not work as well as it does with Jarvi. Thanks for the video.
I agree with rjr1967 to an extent - yes there is a lot of reverb, but is that just unavoidable due to the venue they were playing? Or, you're right, it could have been the engineers mixing it, but I don't THINK there were any...? Or am I completely wrong?

there's a lot of reverb in this acoustic. It makes the pizzicato sound like a dripping toilet cistern...
