One fried phone. Downloaded and completed 1st install, all i have now is a black screen with occasional flashes. Left it for 10 minutes, nada, took battery out and same..

Hey how you doing, i must say that you did a really great job. By far you went through the trouble of showing all a step by step video of upgrading the HTC 8125.

So my question is do you need to install the BAT file on the phone?

Or can i go and download ROMS?

Basically I'm understanding there are three parts to this video -

1. Downgrading the button ROM on the PDA/8125 (download and install on PDA/restart PDA)

2. Run LockWiz.bat to unlock your PDA/8125

3. Download and upgrade the new ROM with WM6 to the PDA/8125

hi im having a problem with the last rom update when i run it, the PDA does the tri color thing then it freezes there then the loading bar on my computer goes away and another box pops up and says invalid "vender id" then tells me to check my "update utility"

That means u did not to this step by step cuz if you did you would not get that error. Doing this step by step makes it so that error dont come up!!!

Im having problems doing this..

I have followed the intructions for vista...

then i attemp to unlock and i run the first program. I click next then update then next again until it goes to the loading bar the phone turns off and goes to the 3 color screen, but the connection disconnects and connects back again and thats when i get Vistas stupid Stopped working error.

What you might want to try is having your phone in the 3 colored screen then try to flash it.

i happen to come across an add on the xda developer forum done by Faria saying that he or she fixed the connecting and disconecting prob of the htc wizard i am gonna try that out!!

Hi there rammstein its me again.Yesterday i flashed teh radio rom U gave me,and well I must say its much better than all the others i had.but theres are still some probs with it.well I didnt have any conection at home and I still don't however when I'm in my garden I do,but a soon as I go into my house it disconected.so I a still gonna have to find a way to fix this.but overall its the best radio rom I had yet and thank a lot man.I am using it right now.

It's really easy unlocking the phone

I had an locked 8125 also

This guy(rammstein)helped me trough all of that.

Just click on "more info" at this video discription and you'll see a list falling down with a list of links.just click on the first one .

there you will see an add he did on xda developers explaining very carefullly how to unlock that thing,with all the downloads needeed.Its very easy.

Go and try it right now.

I had the radio 2.25 and I upgraded it to 2.26 and that just made it all worse.

Alright with signal problem i don't think i can help you there...i also have that problem at my house i get 1 or 2 bars at my house BUT...Radio vr. do sometimes help with signal stuff sometimes you will just need to look on the forum i have provided for ya and look to see if there is a radio that would be good for were you live! = D Hope that will work...If you need any help or you would like me to do some research feel free to ask :)
