sry but that doesn't exactly mean you alone know what's good. i've been listening to rap for a good 10 years, but have heard everyone you listed and more, everything they got. i've heard better from nas, but this album is better than streets disciple. there's no comparing to illmatic, nothing's touching that, the ablum's still good
nas's lyrics are on point as normal but the production does nothing for me , it is to thin sounding , the main problem with hip hop in my eyes is the lack of good production , no sampling thick loops , no heavy bass lines , and everything is recorded on to digital instead of analog which makes it sound to clean when it should sound dirty and no scratching and cutting. nas should just do a album with premier and forget about working with kanye west and just blaze and the rest of them
