ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਜੁਲੀਆ ਚਮਕੰਨਿ ਘੁਰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਘਟਾ ਅਤਿ ਕਾਲੀਆ ॥

O Nanak, the lightning flashes, and thunder echoes in the dark black clouds. ਨਾਨਕ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਘਟਾ ਗੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬਰਸਨਿ ਮੇਘ ਅਪਾਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਗਮਿ ਪਿਰੀ ਸੁਹੰਦੀਆ ॥੨॥ The downpour from the clouds is heavy; O Nanak, the soul-brides are exalted and embellished with their Beloved. ||2|| ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਘੋਲੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤੀ ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

ਗੁਰੁ ਸਰਵਰੁ ਮਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰੁ ਹੈ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਲਹੰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ॥

The Guru is like the Mansarovar Lake; only the very fortunate beings find Him.

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਮਾਨਸਰੋਵਰ ਝੀਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
