  • Hello i want to start this puzzle but my question is how you put the whole puzzle on the wall???

  • @febemauro Hi, I hope I can finish the puzzle this month, so I can make a video of the final installation on the wall. My plan is to agglutinate it from the back and after this on a panel. At the end the complete puzzle on the panel with tape on the wall! I hope this works :)

  • Cool !!! Do check out our completed laid out World's Largest Puzzle 5.44m (L) x 1.92m (H) 32256 pieces Double Retrospect Video Part 2 in our videos list !

  • hey Michael, i've finally finished the second part and my video :)

  • @ffmmcc Great video and congratulation :) nice to see, that you have enough space to show all parts together. But what happend with the blue baby? Do you know how many hours you needed to complete the part?

  • @RetrospectPuzzle thanks Michael! yes, my table has exactly enough space for putting the four parts together. yesterday i put it together with part A on the floor, it's amazing how big it is !

the day i assembled the blue baby, i forgot to branch the battery charger to the computer... at 2 am, i realized it was off, and that the last picture was taken at 10:30 pm. i've taken these three and a half hours into account when i estimated the 66 hours. that was the nice part about taking one photo

  • @ffmmcc yes it is. I also put the first two parts together. I want do so again after finishing the fourth part.

Did you already started with the next part?

  • @angelahibbs1 You can see how I work in the videos, I start with the color with the fewest pieces of all and sort the color itself after black percentage and angle; and the plain pieces after form. Next weekend comes the 3rd part, this time I finished not one color after another :) so be curious

  • to retrospectpuzzle .... i have just bought this jigsaw and was wondering if you have any tips for me getting started and for making good progress with the hjigsaw?! love your videos...when is the 3rd one coming online?! hope yr progressing well?!

  • Assembling sections over previous sections is not the typical way to build a puzzle, this is by no means a typical puzzle. I wish they used a different stamp pattern for the whole puzzle and put all pieces into one bag. If they continue to manufacture puzzles in this way, we might as well take advantage of this strategy to speed up assembly. I also wish they used more precision on the border pieces so that you don't have to permute through the identical pieces to find the precise match.

  • @database224

I also assembled a 18.000 piece puzzle from Ravensburger and it had also 2 times the same stamp pattern in one bag but they hat not the same color :/ this time the white border forces you to put them on top of each other to find the correct permutation ... so Ravensburger your colors are great, but not your stamp pattern

  • Hi RetrospectPuzzle, I just ordered mine this week. I've assembled Ravensburger 18000 piece puzzle in the past. I too noticed that Ravensburger uses the same stamp pattern per bag. I've used this knowledge to my advantage in the past. When I got my last two bags on the 18000 piece puzzle, I assembled those sections directly on top of the previous sections. Since the stamp pattern is the same per section, you know the EXACT shape of the piece you're searching for as you build that section.

  • wish u was my puzzle buddy cant finish the world card (9000) pieces :(

  • @XDelClan I'm sure you will complete your puzzle too! And keep in mind: a puzzle must be a challenge :)

  • @RetrospectPuzzle yea i know just dont know where to go further :(

  • Bawww... No more Trinity. But HOLY CRIPES, this one has a lot of colors and stuff!

I'm wondering though, is this puzzle organized enough to tell you what pieces go in which tier?

  • @Tomasin19

not realy, but often you can guess to which region a piece belongs to, for example the blue waves

  • @RetrospectPuzzle Well, if this puzzle has no way of organizing its pieces... It's seriously a lot more complicated than it looks.

Congratulations to you, though. I believe your first 2 videos aren't that far from each other, and that means 8.000 pieces in less than 1 month.

    Congratulations, indeed.
