if he WOT'd that thing the piston would take out his tire my buddy tried to supercharge his 125 and the rod bent and the piston snapped off and took the head off along with the gas tank, boosting engine smaller then 250 which even still is too small is just suicide and a waste of money wanna boost a bike? get an old street bike 500cc min. and try to turbo it then ill be impressed

@kdog122 sounds like your friend doesnt know that he needs to lower the compression and/or intercool the inlet charge to stop it from overheating. any engine can be boosted if done correctly. not sure why a 500cc turbo engine would be more impressive than this.

@alkhemisti1923 I think its VERY difficult to supercharged 2-stroke engine with reeds.. but if you have a reedless malossi 80cc ,or another reedless pv cylinder ,i think it would probaly go, but as i sad ,if you have a reed cylinder its difficult to get the engine run good with turbo or supercharged.

Apparently the exhaust pulses coming out from the engine are not enough to create stable, usable boost!

Better off with a supercharger anyway :) More immediate power, nice whine & simpler!
