these guys are sliding on like 100a or 98a urethane wheels too. i dont even know how long boarders slide any lower than life 80?

what is the standard long board wheel for slide and grip?

I got a set of 83a orangutan In-heats on my longboard and they slide pretty well once i had broken em in a bit

good sliding wheels on a longboard are usually about an 83a or so.

first guy has the cleanest style but i kind of like the lankyness of the last dude.

tips.... notice how the foreign guy picks up his weight by throwing his shoulders up. that'll lift you're weight up so you can get a clean shift without alot of grab. once its locked back you stright again you can put your weight down.

experiment... if you ever want to be good at this you'll have to put your skin at risk.

loose fronts to help you slide tight backs to keep it from just turning.

that dudes tripping don't listen to him ^. For sliding keep both trucks equal tightness. On a slide deck I keep it somewhat tight but where you can still turn. Khiro blacks work pretty well for my 150 pounds.  I run indy 169s. If y our sliding on a regular longboard I keep my trucks a lot looser.

think it terms of physics. if you're going to slide you want you're weight behind the board. tight trucks with keep you ontop and you'll just grab pave and eat your teeth trying to slide.

too loose isn't good either.

depends on how soft they are just get some hard wheels and there sense your new get them in 93a or more then you can move to medium durometer wheels

There are specific wheels meant for this type of sliding, like gravity sergio yuppie sliders, or earthwing slide a's.

Otherwise the harder the wheel the better :)
