here is a weird fact: Goldbug was seen in Transformers animated. A glitch in the animation shows a red Decepticon symbol. The episode was "Rise of the Constructicons"

Duh, I knew that hotshot was excellion... well actually, no he is not, read his box, the specs say that he is his like cousin or something. I own the figure. The box makes them 2 different people. And excellion cant be hotshot, if hotshot was reborn as defense hotshot. It would make no sense to change hiom back to his first mold. And excellion never showed up in TF cybertron. But, yes excellion has the same mold as hotshot, and this "shattered glass goldbug toy."

Not easily. Movie Bumblebee is on a ball joint, this one is a simple swivel. Switching them would be difficult.

love the colors....I like the original head sculpt (hotshot from Cybertron) better than this one. Wish they can have a repaint like this with the original head. The new repaint of the original mold that is coming out for the last wave of Movie line this Fall (Walmart exclusive) also looks really good.

Pretty nice remold, I am tempted. I just don't like how the backpack gets in the way of the shoulders when you try to pose him.

Actually, the shoulder joints are JUST outside the edge of the backpack, so if you've got everything lined up correctly, his posability is fine.I just wish the backpack tabbed or locked into place in the correct position somehow.
