Instead of using a knife to make the hole hold a lighter about an inch away and melt the plastic a lil bit then but the slide and bowls through it makes a tighter fit.

hey man not trying to fuck with you, but with my ghetto homemade bong making experience, ive found that it is actually easier to just light your lighter and hole the flame unther the part of the bottle you want to make the hole at, let it melt for like two seconds, then push the pen through, that way your not making huge squares in your bottle that uses all your tape.

i found the best way to make a bong was to pierce it first with a pair of scissors.................then use an ordinary cigarette to melt the remaining plastic to form a perfect circle. Use a hose for the stem, and heat it with a lighter......push this through the hole while still warm and when its cold it will be perfectly air tight!!!!! I've done this loads of times, takes a while, and maybe practice for amatuers.....but it'll last a long time!!!!

Best is to use a thick marker and rip the ink felt tip off along with the cap. Wash it thoroughly (very thoroughly) and find a socket the same thickness. Heat it up and jam it inside the marker. If you did it right the socket will be jammed in place and there will be an extremely tight seal. Melt a fair size hole in a gatorade bottle and jam the marker through, should form another air tight seal. Throw a screen in the socket and you're set.
