The flights bring everything for final assembly in Toulouse.
One of the planes lies abandoned in England, replaced by a similar looking jet powered Airbus.

The Airbus 'Beluga' was designed and built to replace the Airbus fleet of four Guppy's which were showing signs of wear and tear.
Airbus copied this 'look' for the 'Beluga', hope that clarifies everything.

There is one that has been restored in North Dakota (maybe South), but, it is fully restored and is flying in some north american shows.
I have some shots of it somewhere, happy to direct you to it, if you live in North America.
