here in middle and southern finland it's mostly pretty mild -5 C or often above freezing compared to the normal -30 C temperatures in Canada and Russia. -20 C is quite rare And snow is very fun to have around!! Altough there's not too much snow here, maybe 1 cm...

If I remember it right, it wasn't colder than just few minus degrees, but it was quite windy.

Really? I always thought it gets colder in Finland. Last year we had days of -32 here in Toronto :]
