  • Any chance of posting the whole show? Would love to hear another version of Solo in Soho than I´ve heard on the other bootlegs! Thank´s and cheers mate!!

  • Nah probably not. If you have an account over at DimeADozen, it can be downloaded over there. It was just upped about a week ago.

Eventually however, I will upload all the Three Musketeers shows. I have them all, but not for awhile yet.

  • how do you know it´s not the bootleg that claimst to be the Avesta show? :)

and denton908 is right! from about 2:00 sykes is playing a bit from the solo in "Who´s Crying Now" by Journey :D

  • I'm not sure if I understand what you mean.

I'm referring to the "Live in Sweden" limited edition version with the two disks. The first of which is from Örebro, and the second of which is supposedly from Avesta. If you listen to that second disc against this bootleg, they aren't the same show. Either Bondage or Zoom Club has wrong info. I tend to think probably Zoom Club, because I'm sure the person that supplied the show for Bondage had the taper's info.

  • That said, Mark Stanway was the one who supplied Zoom Club with the SBDs from the two Sweden gigs. It's hard to believe he would be wrong either. So who knows. All I know was that they didn't do two shows that day, so one of the shows took place at a different time/place.

  • yeah, I got the Zoom Clubs limited edition with the 2 shows from sweden, and it´s just hard tp believe that a official release (and mark stanway) got it wrong, so I´d say it´d probably be Bondage who´s wrong.. makes me wonder where THIS show is from? hehe :p but yeah, we´ll probably never know who´s right :)

  • Well, Scott Gorham doesn't even remember what year he joined Thin Lizzy, so I wouldn't put it past some of these musicians to forget things. Could be as simple as something being misread or mislabeled. Lizzy collectors over the years have been very detailed about dates/venues/shows and I'd be surprised that the person who passed this along to Bondage could get it wrong. Unless the taper comes forward, there's no way in knowing for sure.

  • I should also mention that the Zoom Club releases aren't really considered legitimate official releases. They certainly weren't approved by anyone in the Lizzy camp. I tend to refer to them as official bootlegs.

  • guess you´re right.. well.. anyway it´s a great recording and once again, like all your postings, thanks for the sharing! :) you´re awesome, hehe ;)

  • Certain bits sound like 'Who's Crying Now' by Journey.

  • interesting to hear and i like the guy who screams all the numbers in Swedish in the background.

  • very happy you put that up, relaxed me no end.
