Thing is no matter what ..Terry Hobbs sure is a creep. Done alot of bad things in his life. Can you imagine being in YOUR shower and here comes ol Ter tryin to molest ya !? wow creepy
True. It's odd deadly-rage (lethalstorm) or whatever his screen name is, is so hell-bent on defending Terry. If he is not him, he is a bird of a feather.
@hollyzone LOL. deadly-rage :) That's priceless. Listen, I'm sure all you sycophants want to get back to buying Jason and Damien their xbox games for them so I won't take up any more time. I'm sure the day they were released was one of the most important days of your sad pathetic lives. But to me...it was Friday :)
@Lethalstorm Now Now. Our "sad pathetic lives"? To say something like that, because we do not agree with you, completely uncalled for. You are going on random videos about TH to stick up for someone that you believe to be innocent. We, as supporters, are merely doing the same...Do you think nons weren't watching the broadcast that very same day, showing certain kinds of emotions. Yet watching it, still the same...To me, yes, it was Friday, but a very special one, indeed...:)
@pearljambuff Not you Pj. You're ok. I just don't like hollyzone or 7pretty7. And I hate mimes and circus folk. Oh, and solicitors. And servers. I can't believe they even try making eye contact with me sometimes.
@Lethalstorm Oh, excuse me. I thought you were referring to all of us "sycophants". You need to specify. Come on. I could see hating mimes, the circus and especially solicitors, but servers? Oh and sanussi416 very well said. Don't forget about the holes in his alibi. At the sake of being repetitive, I would believe the witnesses today, a lot more than I would any "witnesses" in the trial. People say why come forward now. Easy, they didn't know TH said he never saw the kids that day.
@pearljambuff Come on. 18 years and over 10 million spent to prove their innocence and the best they can come up with is snapping turtles and a trio of friends who were paid to take a poly that they heard Terry Hobbs committed murder? Please. Hey I've been hearing for years it was Hobbs, albeit from supporters. I wonder if the defense would pay me to take a poly...
@Lethalstorm I was not referring to the "Hobbs family secret". I do not know what to make of that, just yet. I was talking about the witnesses that say they saw Terry with the boys. I never thought that it was, "Mr. Bojangles". Never believed it was, JMB.
(You can check all of my past comments). I reserved my opinion of guilt for someone more fitting. I have to agree with my fellow supporters and say that he should, at the very least, be a suspect. I do not put any stock in polys.
@Lethalstorm Here I was, prepared to stop debating with you. Just goes to show you, gotta be careful when grouping supporters together. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a good old fashioned debate with a non with intellect. Rather than one that just says the 3 are guilty, but doesn't back it up with an ounce of information. Stonesfan comes to mind. At least she is on your side...One question always lingers. Why would they let a man off of death row, if they believed he killed 3 children?
@pearljambuff In all of his interviews, he tries to dodge and wiggle away. When Mark Byers became a suspect, he was a standup guy. He volunteered for polygraphs, submitted biological samples, ect. AND THIS WAS WELL BEFORE HE BECAME A BELIEVER IN THE WM3s innocence. In listening to him, its clear he cared about his stepson and loved him (he always refers to Chris as "my son"). Hobbs, on the other hand, seems like he couldn't care less at best (even without the evidence).
@pearljambuff And contrary to others, I believe that Hobbs WILL be arrested, tried, and convicted someday. If not, I'd love to see Byers knock his teeth out. Either way, I don't think Hobbs would do too well behind bars...If is convicted of killing three boys, that would automatically put him at the bottom of the prison food chain. I've read somewhere that Mara Leveritt has called for him to be sentenced to death. I disagree....I think a life term would be much tougher for him.
And who is this Jacoby whos DNA was also found at the scene? Either way, its upsetting that someone could get away with this for so long. This case is, as his own ex wife says, more like the "West Memphis SIX" case and, if you throw in poor Mark Byers and all the suspicion he had to endure, that makes seven. I've seen Terry play his guitar on PL3....I bet he'll be playing that guitar singing the blues in the varner unit where he belongs. I don't think he should be executed. LWOP sounds right.
When I first saw hobbs on tv, I was amazed by the cold, sharklike look in his eyes; just like Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgway. He's got a rap sheet like Rodney King, has beaten his spouse, has had alibi statements contradicted by eyewitnesses, and his DNA was at the scene. That's more than enough for him to be tried. And why is it that his stepson was the one who had his face mutilated? As far as I'm concerned, they could arrest him tomorrow. In fact, I think he WILL be arrested one day
@sanussi416 I'm relieved that expert judges of character like yourself don't make decisions on who is arrested for crimes. Seriously? Based on the "cold, sharklike look in his eyes"? Go fuck yourself you self righteous hack. You don't know a goddamn thing about this case.
@Lethalstorm I'm not basing it on the cold, sharklike look in his eyes. That's just icing. I'm basing it on his hair and that of his friend found in a ligature and all the eyewitness reports; not to mention his criminal record, which is about a mile long.
Don't let this rude poster run you off. hang out and comment as much as you like. He obviously has an ax to grind and you are of course welcome to state your opinions like anyone else.
Keep telling yourselves all the excuses you need to justify supporting three convicted child killers who had a chance at a re-trial but instead pled Guilty. They weren't forced to plead Guilty. It was the WM3 defense team that brought the Alford plea to the table. I don't care which side of the fence you're sitting on, that alone shoule be enough to instill some doubt on their claims of innocence.
@hollyzone Yes they are guilty of murder. Legally, no matter how much you may not like it or agree with it, they are. They even pled guilty. They spent over 10 million dollars to prove their innocence and they could not. The best they could come up with is snapping turtles and a trio of friends who say they were told Terry Hobbs committed murder and took a poly. That is a joke.
Please people. Lets learn from the mistake of imprisoning three innocent kids, thus creating 6 victims of this horrendous crime. I think its time that we look at hard evidence before deciding that Terry Hobbs is guilty. He may very well be guilty but we cant afford to make another mass assumption about someone else's behaviour. our decision needs to be made from fact not formulated from fiction.
@evanwook1 true and WHY don't they want to reopen this case and find out just who did murder those children. Terry sure is lookin bad right about now. And why DID they want his dna ?? Were they starting to suspect him ? To bad it's too late maybe !
THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT! THOSE YOUNG BLOKES WHERE CONVICTED AND SPENT 18 YEARS IN JAIL WITH FUCK ALL EVIDENCE YET THIS "PERP" STILL ROAMS FREE EVEN WITH ALL THE FACTS.
The three eight year olds were hog-tied post mortum, God rest their souls. One can pick up with one hand-the foot and wrist connecting rope on the hog tie. A person proved it and made a vid.
@hollyzone First, what does that have to do with anything? Second, with the exception of Chris Byers, the boys were most likely alive and unconscious when they were tied up.
@hollyzone You mean shameless evil mosters, plural. Your boys Damien, Jason, and Jessie are responsible for that. Three different types of knots were used. Unless Terry Hobbs was displaying some mad skillz by intentionally trying to throw LE off(which I'm sure some of you will claim).
I enjoy the debates on here and respect everyone's opinions - just as long as we all agree that we're involved in the debates to find the killer of children. It's just my opinion that the responsible person(s) has not been charged. I hope it gets figured out soon, but it probably won't given the history of all this. TTFN.
This video and the allegations put forth in it are now moot and useless. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley Jr pled Guilty to and remain convicted of the murders of Chris Byers, Stevie Branch, and Michael Moore. They are the perps and not this man, Terry Hobbs, who is innocent of this horrible crime. That is all.
@pearljambuff I respect yours as well, and I appreciate your points of view and the way you expressed them without attacking me. I hope I was as civil on my points. I'm sure we'll bump into each other again, lol. Peace.
@Lethalstorm Yes, very civil, indeed. Thank you for the debate. It was a nice change of pace from the name calling and personal attacks. I am sure we will run into each other, again...lol
That must be it. Politically connected law enforcement officials always let the guilty go free, when it will embarrass them b/c they are just so nice and friendly.
I never once said that TH did this. He is just a possibility to look into. I remember watching the movies, feeling so bad for all involved, including him. I can't imagine ever losing a child. With that said, I want justice, and do not feel justice was done.
The WM3 are NOT GUILTY of these crimes. PERIOD You know who is guilty: the chick in Florida who killed her daughter. I think DE himself will play a crucial part in finding the murderer(s) of these 3 children...it's the only way people will get off of his ass...and even then they probably won't. I like heavy metal. I like black. I like Johnny Cash. I am strange. I am weird. I don't care who you are, what you wear, or what music you listen to...if you kill kids you're a PILE OF SHIT !
@woodymusicproject The WM3 are convicted of these crimes and pled Guilty. End of story until they are exonerated, which isn't gonna happen. You know why? They did it.
@Lethalstorm Nons said they would never be released, also. I find it odd that it was Damiens PI that got DNA from Hobbs. Not the cops. As far as the confessions, the thing that gets me is, no matter how many times Jessie said he left the scene, the cops always bring him right back to tell more. How could he explain what happened, after he left? He said they "screwed em 'n stuff". Not true. He said they choked them. Again, not true. Wish we could hear the rest of the interrogation..
@pearljambuff True, but in order for them to be exonerated there would have to be some compelling evidence. If the hairs and this new third- or fourth-hand hearsay is all they have then I'm afraid they'll never clear their name.
@ted818283 What is your obsession with me being on Facebook? You want to learn my true identity? I will do that now, just for you. Don't say I never did anything for you... As far as the new witnesses that place TH with the children that day. Why would they come forward with that information, until they learned that TH claimed not seeing any of the children that day. Maybe they assumed, as I did, that he was questioned and cleared. In this case, I guess you can't assume anything...
@pearljambuff Terry Hobbs DNA was obtained illegally. See, things like DNA samples have to be obtained with consent or by subpeona. Fortunately the police in this country can't just go around demanding DNA samples from just anyone. Terry Hobbs is innocent until proven guilty whereas the WM3? Not only were they convicted 18 years ago, but they pled Guilty rather than lose at a re-trial.
If you believe so strongly in Terry's innocence, why on Earth do you care how the hell his DNA was obtained. An innocent man would be putting his DNA out on a silver platter for them.
Off topic: Is anyone else having problems with youtube, today? Just wondering, the past comments from days ago keep popping up, making it hard to read the new ones. Wondered if it was just me...
@ted818283 No, I'm at work right now. Lucky I'm getting away with this...shhhh. I will let you know. Wanted to check it out first, when I have time...Are you having problems with Youtube?
@ted818283 What was the Facebook page, again? I can't find the comment due to technical difficulties. Maybe it's because of all the smack we've been talking about said site...Thanks.
@pearljambuff Well, there's the WM3 . o r g Facebook page (a supporter page). Then there's the WM3 Civil Discussion page (both non and supporter). And there's the WM3Truth page (non).
@hollyzone Okay, just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Do you mean, is my name highlighted in blue? Yes it is. Is your name in black, or something?
@hollyzone Oh okay. I see what you mean. No, my comments are not highlighted in yellow anymore, either. They used to be. Didn't even notice that till you mentioned it.
@ted818283 Its the same type of style murder. people keep saying in this type case its usually some one they know. Im saying no , it could have been a stranger & some one they befriended led them to the stranger & im using those other murders to show that possibilty. It could have been a stranger & that some one they felt they had befriended led them to him.
This was the work of a traveling serial killer who studied that area while in town. and 2 or 3 very young accomplices who did the befriending and luring & the murders took place inside of a truck trailer parked near the car wash. The adult being in his late 30's and his accomplices both about 14 or 15. The adult did the complicated hog tying. This was the work of a stranger who had very young accomplices. i think the victims were offered a way to make money helping wash the truck
@ted818283 Only because the murderer was traveling. remember there was a truck wash directly on the other side of the woods & also a very large truck stop.
@keemosobbee interesting...I think it's possible that a traveling serial killer could have done this, but w/ accomplices? I don't know about that one.
THIS THE PROFILE OF THIS TYPE OF MURDER Dean Arnold Corll[1] (December 24, 1939 – August 8, 1973) was an American serial killer, also known as the "Candy Man", who, together with two youthful accomplices named David
:Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley, abducted, raped, tortured and murdered a minimum of 28 boys in a series of killings spanning from 1970 to 1973 in Houston, Texas. The crimes, which became known as the Houston Mass Murders, came to light only after Henley shot and killed Corll.
Continuation: If Ryan Clark was right, and they were put in the water around that time. Do you think DE, JM, and JB were still in the woods, at that point? That would be 2 and a half hours after the boys were last seen, at around 6:30. Why would he lie? He has nothing to lose or gain, (unlike others in this case)... No matter what, I always come back to the same conclusion. I don't see how three teenage boys covered up a triple homicide, better than most serial killers...
@pearljambuff What are you basing your conclusion on Pj? What statistical evidence is there that proves beyond a shadow of doubt that one adult and two teenage boys would be unable to kill 3 eight year old boys without leaving behind any (that we are aware of) evidence? It doesn't take a serial killer to reason they should use water to wash away potential evidence then use the water to hide the bodies. You may not want to believe they were capable of this, but teenagers do kill.
@Lethalstorm Teenagers do kill...yes...but logically, how the prosecution is saying it was covered up is really bogus...now, I am not a scientist, sociologist, or an investigator, but common knowledge tells me that is not logical in this case.
@woodymusicproject Explain to me how common knowledge would or would not apply to this situation. Let's see...murder, 3 bodies, blood, water source. "Common knowledge" would say use the water to clean trace evidence.
FACTS: 70% of child murders are perpetrated by mother's boyfriend or the stepdad.
A stepdad with a history of inappropriateness, violence & child abuse is Terry Hobbs. DNA points to Terry Hobbs. Neighbors, ex wife, his kids, families of the other victims and well-researched individuals all think Terry Hobbs was responsible. 2 of the 3 boys witnessed him hit Stevie really hard for being out late. He killed them all so he would not go to prison for child abuse.
@Lethalstorm I agree, they were capable of doing this. But to leave nothing behind. As far as the woods being the murder site, or dump site, I agree with the latter. Which brings me to Pams sisters' claim of seeing TH cleaning bed linens, curtains, and such at odd hours, around the time of the murders. Do I believe everything everyone says in this case, hell no. Just something to think about. You bring up statistics, what are they on the ritualistic killings of 3 children in the US?
@pearljambuff I have never said the killings were ritualistic in nature. I have never subscribed to this theory and I think it's unfortunate the WMPD chose to approach the investigation that way. If the prosecution never mentions anything about satanism, the clothes the WM3 wore, the music they listened to, then DE has no clarion call or rallying cry to build his cult of personality. To say they left nothing behind is inaccurate.
@pearljambuff Contrary to popular theories there has never been any evidence to suggest the boys were murdered somewhere else then dumped in the woods where they were found. They were last seen entering the area around 6:30pm. There were no vehicle tire tracks leading in or out of the area. To suggest Terry Hobbs could have killed the boys in his house then dump the bodies in that area without being seen by someone is not logical.
@Lethalstorm Good point, mind if I borrow it... Then surely having 3 guys walk out of the woods covered in mud and blood, "without being seen by someone is not logical," also.
@pearljambuff There is eyewitness testimony tying the WM3 to these murders. Misskelley confesses multiple times and for some reason it's dismissed as coerced or lying each time.
@Lethalstorm What eyewitness testimony? Don't tell me you're referring to the, Hollingsworths. One of whom, happened to be a suspect. They established that it was Domini and Damien, and weren't even sure it was that day. How could you accept any of their testimony, yet dismiss everything I say, so quickly. I would trust the new witnesses before I would any "witnesses" back then. They all lied. Every last one of them. The whole trial was a joke.
@Lethalstorm MissKelley was coerced dude. Come on. Why didn't he testify against them in the other trial...he would have got a reduced sentence then right? That would have been tampered w / to just like everything else in their cases.
@woodymusicproject Well, if Misskelley were coerced into making a confession in exchange for of a lenient sentence, or some other promise, then why didn't he testify against the other two?
And what's more, why would he confess again to his lawyer after he had been convicted and sentenced? He had absolutely nothing to gain for incriminating himself again.
You're hearing a sincere confession. He said he wanted to "get this of my chest" and he "wanted something done" about the murders.
Why?? Because Jessie has character. He was offered a sweet deal to lie about Jason and Damien.. He knew he would rot and said at the time that he knew what the consequences would be.
Still he got out. Eighteen years later, but he got out. See maybe Jessie is someone we should all strive to be like. IQ numbers be damned. His father must be so proud. :)
@woodymusicproject Exactly, that right there should have proven jury tampering...Judge Burnett wanted them to pay, no matter what. Luckily, a different judge took over... finally. At least Judge Laser can sleep at night, knowing at least he did the right thing...
@Lethalstorm I sincerely hope you are not referring to the "softball girls" either. Think I read somewhere, she decided to retract her statement (something along those lines). I know I read that her mom said she never believed her, to begin with. Surely, she would know her better than anyone...I find it funny, that under oath, she could remember what DE said. That was about it though. Didn't know the tone he used, how far away he was, etc. "I don't know", was all she could say...
@pearljambuff The softball girls have never recanted their statement. And what's more, Echols himself, only a few years ago, said he may have bragged about killing the boys.
@ted818283 Alright, I'm in. You converted me into a facebook user, you happy? Dang you...Now my boyfriend is going to make fun of me...I'm off to join in the fight for justice...Oh and by the way, I was going by what, Ellington said. Personally I can't believe anyone that can't give any more details other than, he said it. She didn't know anything else that was said, what tone of voice he used, how far away he was...It's hard to believe anyone anymore, when it comes to this case...
It's been proven ad nauseum that the confessions were coerced. You might as well admit the truth. Your argument is stale. I think you are Terry Hobbs or someone who knows him very well.
Terry probably killed them when he found them out on their bikes. In the wooded area, (because it was isolated), hog tied them after- so he could toss them them into the ditch area like garbage. Steve Jacoby might have been there since his DNA was also found at the scene.
@pearljambuff There is no way to take Ryan Clark's statement without skepticism. He didn't actually see anything. He mentions he heard splashes. This is very unreliable and should be treated as such.
@Lethalstorm Yes, if you want to get technical, I guess I do stand corrected. (Duly noted). I can't help but notice that you think a lot of people in this case are "unreliable", What does that leave? Who do you actually believe, besides TH? Which brings me back to my repeated and unanswered question...Why are you two protecting Terry Hobbs?
@pearljambuff I am not protecting Terry Hobbs. For one thing, TH has never been considered a person of interest in this case, much less a suspect. For every reason supporters can implicate TH, I can give the same reasons implicating the WM3.
@Lethalstorm Which is exactly why I think he needs to be looked into, much further. That is the whole point of my posts. I am not saying he is guilty. Just that it is possible...
@pearljambuff DNA- A hair on the ligature used to tie up MM that may or may not belong to TH; Blood types that match DE, JB, and Stevie Branch on a pendant confiscated from DE.
Violent criminal history- TH, DE, JB, and JM all have one.
Alibis- While TH's alibi has some holes in it, the alibis of the WM3 have been thoroughly discredited in a court of law.
@pearljambuff I don't think anyone is protecting Terry Hobbs, he's just become a red herring for supporters. It's frustrating and silly for his name to be repeatedly connected with the murders.
@ted818283 Fair enough. I don't understand why TH would not tell his wife that her son was missing. Not saying that makes him guilty, but suspicious. He didn't even tell her when he went to pick her up. In Pams own words, he went straight to the payphone, without saying a word. It was 4 year old Amanda that told her, "We can't find him"... You said, "Terry Hobbs whereabouts are accounted for at 9 p.m" That's what accomplices are for. I never thought this was an act of just one person.
@pearljambuff He may have simply not wanted her to worry. Who did he call? Was it the Moores? Maybe he was waiting to tell her once he knew for certain the boys were still missing.
@ted818283 Interesting perspective. Didn't think of it that way. Still suspicious, but I guess that could be why. Something to ponder. Dang, this is all I'm allowed today, 200 characters...
Silly? See this is why i know you are Terry or Terry's friend b/c even if you did believe in Terry's innocence, you'd HAVE to admit, there's good reasons why he's being accused.
@pearljambuff yeah, I can agree w/ that. And it isn't that they were just teenagers...those three were what DE stated: poverty stricken white trash...now, I am not prejudice, but the way the boys saw the world during the time of the initial investigation and the way they see the world now is completely different. I can actually relate a little to how their mindsets were back when they were younger. Easy targets. Ridiculed. Outcasts.
@ted818283 Logically, if the boys were killed the way the prosecution claims they were, there would be way...way...way too much blood to hide for anyone...
@woodymusicproject Well, there was blood found at the crime scene. Again, along with many other details of the crime, this tidbit is left out of the Paradise Lost films.
A Luminol test was conducted a few days after the murders. It revealed several areas of blood along the drainage ditch. The way the blood was dispersed also suggests there were multiple killers. Luminol testing was relatively new in 1993 and not allowed as evidence in Arkansas court.
@woodymusicproject The defense repeatedly claimed there was no blood at the crime scene during the trial. They were admonished by the judge and told if they made that claim again he would allow the Luminol test as evidence.
@woodymusicproject they did find blood close to where they found the bodies. the luminol tests werent admitted into court. thats a good question though bc there prob should be more blood than what they found.
@woodymusicproject They were murdered at the crime scene. Despite supporter claims and wild theories there has never been any actual evidence to suggest the crime scene was a dump site.
Yes, woodymusicproject, I agree that it was a dump site, for various reasons. One being, Ryan Clarks statements. He said he heard what sounded like 5 real loud splashes in the water, the grass and brush crackling, followed by a gunshot. This was around 9:00pm. (verified by friends, give or take by a few minutes). Don't you think searchers would have heard something before then...
@pearljambuff Terry Hobbs whereabouts are accounted for at 9 p.m., he had to pick his wife up from work. So the killer would have to be someone other than Hobbs.
And I HATE how comments are threaded on YouTube. Sometimes I have no idea that a comment someone posts is a reply to something I posted earlier. Not true with Facebook.
@ted818283 Yeah, I hate that too. That and not being able to post links...You said, "This comment reminds me that no matter what evidence I present to supporters it's usually met with skepticism." I was trying like hell to figure out which post you were referring to...
@pearljambuff And your family and friends will be proud you've joined the 21st Century once you get a Facebook page. I held out for a while too, was egged on by my brother.
And FFS YouTube, I can't leave a few comments without you popping up and saying I've left too many and have to enter code to leave another.
@ted818283 Yeah, my sister has been trying to talk my into it for quite some time now...I'm such a dork, I had to look up FFS. (Can't believe I admitted that). Like I told Lethalstorm, I have met so many cool nons over the years... Sucks that there is just this one thing, we can't get past.
@pearljambuff Forgot to mention there are many WM3 Facebook pages as well—both pro and con. The big one is the WM3 . o r g page, which is a supporter page. There's also WM3Truth which is a non-supporter page. WM3Truth also has a website you should check out.
@ted818283 And you'll probably find a Facebook page for Pearl Jam, or lacrosse, or knitting, if that's what you're into. Holy shit I've become a corporate shill for Facebook.
@ted818283 Believe me. I know all about WM3.o r g, The West Memphis Three Hoax, WM3 Blackboard, Wm3Truth, need I go on? I told you, my username has nothing to do with my interest in this case. I have studied it, profusely. Notice two that I mentioned are non-sites...I have heard both sides, and have not been swayed. In my eyes, they are innocent. Nothing I hate more than child molesters, and child killers. There's no way I would back them up, if I thought at all, that they did this...
@ted818283 Do you work for Facebook? "And your family and friends will be proud you've joined the 21st Century once you get a Facebook page." Reading through your comments again, it sounded like a commercial. I will get to that later. Got the day off, better get some stuff done...Till then...
@pearljambuff@Lethalstorm I know this sounds dorky, but you two seem like you enjoy discussing the case. There's a Facebook page called WM3 Civil Discussion Group, you two should join. There are both supporters and non-supporters there capable of being respectful in their posts.
Michael Crowe was known as "The Devil Son Who Murdered the Angel Daughter." Funny thing is, not only did he confess to the crime in great detail, so did his friend, and so called "accomplice". There you have it, two confessions. Turns out, it was someone else...Just goes to show you...
@pearljambuff Reading about Crowe now. It's still not clear whether or not he killed his sister. The guy that was ultimately convicted for the murder, Richard Tuite, won his appeal late last year on grounds of insufficient evidence.
The list goes on...All I hear from nons is, "Oh, supporters don't want to mention this or that." What about nons? I haven't talked to one non yet that has mentioned anything about Terrys violent past. It works both ways...
@pearljambuff Yet another supporter who ignores actual evidence against the WM3. Nothing to say regarding the similar mtDNA sequences on the hairs to Damien Echols?
@Lethalstorm Oh, you are referring to the "birthday problem"? So how can you say it's "evidence against the WM3", if they're not sure if it's Jacobys hair or Damiens? You can't. I noticed, you didn't even mention it is consistent with Jacoby. Who ignores what?
Thing is no matter what ..Terry Hobbs sure is a creep. Done alot of bad things in his life. Can you imagine being in YOUR shower and here comes ol Ter tryin to molest ya !? wow creepy
7pretty7 3 days ago
True. It's odd deadly-rage (lethalstorm) or whatever his screen name is, is so hell-bent on defending Terry. If he is not him, he is a bird of a feather.
hollyzone 2 days ago
@hollyzone LOL. deadly-rage :) That's priceless. Listen, I'm sure all you sycophants want to get back to buying Jason and Damien their xbox games for them so I won't take up any more time. I'm sure the day they were released was one of the most important days of your sad pathetic lives. But to me...it was Friday :)
Lethalstorm 2 days ago
@Lethalstorm Now Now. Our "sad pathetic lives"? To say something like that, because we do not agree with you, completely uncalled for. You are going on random videos about TH to stick up for someone that you believe to be innocent. Yet watching it, still the same...To me, yes, it was Friday, but a very special one, indeed...:)

I do not put any stock in polys.
pearljambuff 8 hours ago
@Lethalstorm Here I was, prepared to stop debating with you. Just goes to show you, gotta be careful when grouping supporters together. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a good old fashioned debate with a non with intellect. Rather than one that just says the 3 are guilty, but doesn't back it up with an ounce of information. Stonesfan comes to mind. At least she is on your side...One question always lingers. Why would they let a man off of death row, if they believed he killed 3 children?
pearljambuff 8 hours ago
@Lethalstorm Not to mention Hobbs' DNA and Jacoby's at the scene of the crime. He's in a lot of trouble...
sanussi416 3 hours ago
@pearljambuff In all of his interviews, he tries to dodge and wiggle away. When Mark Byers became a suspect, he was a standup guy. He volunteered for polygraphs, submitted biological samples, ect. AND THIS WAS WELL BEFORE HE BECAME A BELIEVER IN THE WM3s innocence. In listening to him, its clear he cared about his stepson and loved him (he always refers to Chris as "my son"). Hobbs, on the other hand, seems like he couldn't care less at best (even without the evidence).
sanussi416 4 hours ago
@pearljambuff And contrary to others, I believe that Hobbs WILL be arrested, tried, and convicted someday. If not, I'd love to see Byers knock his teeth out. Either way, I don't think Hobbs would do too well behind bars...If is convicted of killing three boys, that would automatically put him at the bottom of the prison food chain. I've read somewhere that Mara Leveritt has called for him to be sentenced to death. I disagree....I think a life term would be much tougher for him.
sanussi416 3 hours ago
@pearljambuff He's also over 50. Sentencing him to die would be a moot point...
sanussi416 3 hours ago
@Lethalstorm HEY that's mean !...haha like I give a shit who you like..you crazy
7pretty7 6 hours ago
And who is this Jacoby whos DNA was also found at the scene? Either way, its upsetting that someone could get away with this for so long. This case is, as his own ex wife says, more like the "West Memphis SIX" case and, if you throw in poor Mark Byers and all the suspicion he had to endure, that makes seven. I've seen Terry play his guitar on PL3....I bet he'll be playing that guitar singing the blues in the varner unit where he belongs. I don't think he should be executed. LWOP sounds right.
sanussi416 4 days ago
When I first saw hobbs on tv, I was amazed by the cold, sharklike look in his eyes; just like Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgway. He's got a rap sheet like Rodney King, has beaten his spouse, has had alibi statements contradicted by eyewitnesses, and his DNA was at the scene. That's more than enough for him to be tried. And why is it that his stepson was the one who had his face mutilated? As far as I'm concerned, they could arrest him tomorrow. In fact, I think he WILL be arrested one day
sanussi416 4 days ago
@sanussi416 I'm relieved that expert judges of character like yourself don't make decisions on who is arrested for crimes. Seriously? Based on the "cold, sharklike look in his eyes"? Go fuck yourself you self righteous hack. You don't know a goddamn thing about this case.

Lethalstorm 6 days ago
@Lethalstorm

@Lethalstorm
No doubts. They are not guilty of murder. And I base my opinion on facts.
hollyzone 2 days ago
@hollyzone Yes they are guilty of murder. Legally, no matter how much you may not like it or agree with it, they are. They even pled guilty. They spent over 10 million dollars to prove their innocence and they could not. The best they could come up with is snapping turtles and a trio of friends who say they were told Terry Hobbs committed murder and took a poly. That is a joke.
Lethalstorm 2 days ago
@Lethalstorm
You defend your point as if it's life & death for you. What's up with that?
hollyzone 2 days ago 2
Please people. Lets learn from the mistake of imprisoning three innocent kids, thus creating 6 victims of this horrendous crime. I think its time that we look at hard evidence before deciding that Terry Hobbs is guilty. He may very well be guilty but we cant afford to make another mass assumption about someone else's behaviour. our decision needs to be made from fact not formulated from fiction.

It's just my opinion that the responsible person(s) has not been charged. I hope it gets figured out soon, but it probably won't given the history of all this. TTFN.
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
This video and the allegations put forth in it are now moot and useless. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley Jr pled Guilty to and remain convicted of the murders of Chris Byers, Stevie Branch, and Michael Moore. They are the perps and not this man, Terry Hobbs, who is innocent of this horrible crime. That is all.

pearljambuff 1 week ago
The WM3 are NOT GUILTY of these crimes. PERIOD You know who is guilty: the chick in Florida who killed her daughter. I think DE himself will play a crucial part in finding the murderer(s) of these 3 children...it's the only way people will get off of his ass...and even then they probably won't. I like heavy metal. I like black. I like Johnny Cash. I am strange. I am weird. I don't care who you are, what you wear, or what music you listen to...if you kill kids you're a PILE OF SHIT !
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject The WM3 are convicted of these crimes and pled Guilty. End of story until they are exonerated, which isn't gonna happen. You know why? They did it.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm Nons said they would never be released, also. I find it odd that it was Damiens PI that got DNA from Hobbs. Not the cops. As far as the confessions, the thing that gets me is, no matter how many times Jessie said he left the scene, the cops always bring him right back to tell more. How could he explain what happened, after he left? He said they "screwed em 'n stuff". Not true. He said they choked them. Again, not true. Wish we could hear the rest of the interrogation..
pearljambuff 1 week ago 8
@pearljambuff True, but in order for them to be exonerated there would have to be some compelling evidence. If the hairs and this new third- or fourth-hand hearsay is all they have then I'm afraid they'll never clear their name.
And are you on Facebook yet?!
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 What is your obsession with me being on Facebook? You want to learn my true identity? I will do that now, just for you. Don't say I never did anything for you... As far as the new witnesses that place TH with the children that day. Why would they come forward with that information, until they learned that TH claimed not seeing any of the children that day. Maybe they assumed, as I did, that he was questioned and cleared. In this case, I guess you can't assume anything...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff Terry Hobbs DNA was obtained illegally. See, things like DNA samples have to be obtained with consent or by subpeona. Fortunately the police in this country can't just go around demanding DNA samples from just anyone. Terry Hobbs is innocent until proven guilty whereas the WM3? Not only were they convicted 18 years ago, but they pled Guilty rather than lose at a re-trial.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm
If you believe so strongly in Terry's innocence, why on Earth do you care how the hell his DNA was obtained. An innocent man would be putting his DNA out on a silver platter for them.

@keemosobbee WTF is your point? That was 20 years before the murders of Chris Byers, Michael Moore, and Stevie Branch. /facepalm
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm MY fuckin point is thats the type of profile. you know how criminalists use profiles of other cases that have similar style killings?
keemosobbee 3 days ago
THIS ALSO WAS WRITTEN IN THE CASE OF DEAN CORRLL : "In addition, the youth's body was found bound hand and foot with rope as other victims had been."
keemosobbee 1 week ago
@keemosobbee I don't understand, why are you bringing up these murders?
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Its the same type of style murder. people keep saying in this type case its usually some one they know. Im saying no , it could have been a stranger & some one they befriended led them to the stranger & im using those other murders to show that possibilty. It could have been a stranger & that some one they felt they had befriended led them to him.
keemosobbee 3 days ago
This was the work of a traveling serial killer who studied that area while in town. and 2 or 3 very young accomplices who did the befriending and luring & the murders took place inside of a truck trailer parked near the car wash. The adult being in his late 30's and his accomplices both about 14 or 15. The adult did the complicated hog tying. This was the work of a stranger who had very young accomplices. i think the victims were offered a way to make money helping wash the truck
keemosobbee 1 week ago
@keemosobbee But there haven't been any similar killings since the West Memphis murders. It wasn't the work of a serial killer.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Only because the murderer was traveling. remember there was a truck wash directly on the other side of the woods & also a very large truck stop.
keemosobbee 3 days ago
@keemosobbee Wow! Your theory doesn't hold any water, it's a complete fantasy with nothing to back it up.
ted818283 1 week ago

woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject why not with accomplices?
keemosobbee 3 days ago
THIS THE PROFILE OF THIS TYPE OF MURDER Dean Arnold Corll[1] (December 24, 1939 – August 8, 1973) was an American serial killer, also known as the "Candy Man", who, together with two youthful accomplices named David
:Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley, abducted, raped, tortured and murdered a minimum of 28 boys in a series of killings spanning from 1970 to 1973 in Houston, Texas. The crimes, which became known as the Houston Mass Murders, came to light only after Henley shot and killed Corll.
keemosobbee 1 week ago
Continuation: If Ryan Clark was right, and they were put in the water around that time. Do you think DE, JM, and JB were still in the woods, at that point? That would be 2 and a half hours after the boys were last seen, at around 6:30. Why would he lie? He has nothing to lose or gain, (unlike others in this case)... No matter what, I always come back to the same conclusion. I don't see how three teenage boys covered up a triple homicide, better than most serial killers...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff What are you basing your conclusion on Pj? What statistical evidence is there that proves beyond a shadow of doubt that one adult and two teenage boys would be unable to kill 3 eight year old boys without leaving behind any (that we are aware of) evidence? It doesn't take a serial killer to reason they should use water to wash away potential evidence then use the water to hide the bodies. You may not want to believe they were capable of this, but teenagers do kill.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm Teenagers do kill...yes...but logically, how the prosecution is saying it was covered up is really bogus...now, I am not a scientist, sociologist, or an investigator, but common knowledge tells me that is not logical in this case.
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject Explain to me how common knowledge would or would not apply to this situation. Let's see...murder, 3 bodies, blood, water source. "Common knowledge" would say use the water to clean trace evidence.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm trace? Don't you think there would be more than just a trace of evidence?
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject
Good call.
He killed them all so he would not go to prison for child abuse.
hollyzone 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm I agree, they were capable of doing this. But to leave nothing behind. As far as the woods being the murder site, or dump site, I agree with the latter. Which brings me to Pams sisters' claim of seeing TH cleaning bed linens, curtains, and such at odd hours, around the time of the murders. Do I believe everything everyone says in this case, hell no. Just something to think about. You bring up statistics, what are they on the ritualistic killings of 3 children in the US?
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff I have never said the killings were ritualistic in nature. I have never subscribed to this theory and I think it's unfortunate the WMPD chose to approach the investigation that way. If the prosecution never mentions anything about satanism, the clothes the WM3 wore, the music they listened to, then DE has no clarion call or rallying cry to build his cult of personality. To say they left nothing behind is inaccurate.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@pearljambuff Contrary to popular theories there has never been any evidence to suggest the boys were murdered somewhere else then dumped in the woods where they were found. They were last seen entering the area around 6:30pm. There were no vehicle tire tracks leading in or out of the area. To suggest Terry Hobbs could have killed the boys in his house then dump the bodies in that area without being seen by someone is not logical.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm Good point, mind if I borrow it... Then surely having 3 guys walk out of the woods covered in mud and blood, "without being seen by someone is not logical," also.
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff There is eyewitness testimony tying the WM3 to these murders. Misskelley confesses multiple times and for some reason it's dismissed as coerced or lying each time.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm What eyewitness testimony? Don't tell me you're referring to the, Hollingsworths. One of whom, happened to be a suspect. They established that it was Domini and Damien, and weren't even sure it was that day. How could you accept any of their testimony, yet dismiss everything I say, so quickly. I would trust the new witnesses before I would any "witnesses" back then. They all lied. Every last one of them. The whole trial was a joke.
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff No. The eyewitness testimony of Jessie Misskelley Jr. as stated in his multiple confessions.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm MissKelley was coerced dude. Come on. Why didn't he testify against them in the other trial...he would have got a reduced sentence then right? That would have been tampered w / to just like everything else in their cases.
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject Well, if Misskelley were coerced into making a confession in exchange for of a lenient sentence, or some other promise, then why didn't he testify against the other two?
And what's more, why would he confess again to his lawyer after he had been convicted and sentenced? He had absolutely nothing to gain for incriminating himself again.
You're hearing a sincere confession. He said he wanted to "get this of my chest" and he "wanted something done" about the murders.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283

hollyzone 1 week ago
@pearljambuff I like how when all things logical go right over the heads of the ill-logical...it makes me seem very smart.
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm
Terry probably killed them when he found them out on their bikes. In the wooded area, (because it was isolated), hog tied them after- so he could toss them them into the ditch area like garbage. Steve Jacoby might have been there since his DNA was also found at the scene.
hollyzone 1 week ago
@pearljambuff There is no way to take Ryan Clark's statement without skepticism. He didn't actually see anything. He mentions he heard splashes. This is very unreliable and should be treated as such.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@pearljambuff Just a reminder, Damien Echols was 18 at the time of the murders. 1 adult, 2 teenagers.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm Yes, if you want to get technical, I guess I do stand corrected. (Duly noted). I can't help but notice that you think a lot of people in this case are "unreliable", What does that leave? Who do you actually believe, besides TH? Which brings me back to my repeated and unanswered question...Why are you two protecting Terry Hobbs?
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff I am not protecting Terry Hobbs. For one thing, TH has never been considered a person of interest in this case, much less a suspect. For every reason supporters can implicate TH, I can give the same reasons implicating the WM3.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm Which is exactly why I think he needs to be looked into, much further. That is the whole point of my posts. I am not saying he is guilty. Just that it is possible...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff DNA- A hair on the ligature used to tie up MM that may or may not belong to TH; Blood types that match DE, JB, and Stevie Branch on a pendant confiscated from DE.
Violent criminal history- TH, DE, JB, and JM all have one.
Alibis- While TH's alibi has some holes in it, the alibis of the WM3 have been thoroughly discredited in a court of law.
I could go on.
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm
DNA does not lie. You're LOSING. Give it up, my friend. Or are you Terry's friend?
hollyzone 1 week ago
@pearljambuff I don't think anyone is protecting Terry Hobbs, he's just become a red herring for supporters. It's frustrating and silly for his name to be repeatedly connected with the murders.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Fair enough. I don't understand why TH would not tell his wife that her son was missing. Not saying that makes him guilty, but suspicious. He didn't even tell her when he went to pick her up. In Pams own words, he went straight to the payphone, without saying a word. It was 4 year old Amanda that told her, "We can't find him"... You said, "Terry Hobbs whereabouts are accounted for at 9 p.m" That's what accomplices are for. I never thought this was an act of just one person.

Silly? See this is why i know you are Terry or Terry's friend b/c even if you did believe in Terry's innocence, you'd HAVE to admit, there's good reasons why he's being accused.
hollyzone 1 week ago
@pearljambuff yeah, I can agree w/ that. And it isn't that they were just teenagers...those three were what DE stated: poverty stricken white trash...now, I am not prejudice, but the way the boys saw the world during the time of the initial investigation and the way they see the world now is completely different. I can actually relate a little to how their mindsets were back when they were younger. Easy targets. Ridiculed. Outcasts.
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
Does everyone agree that the murder site was not in the woods?
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject Why do you believe the woods were not the site of the murders?
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Logically, if the boys were killed the way the prosecution claims they were, there would be way...way...way too much blood to hide for anyone...
woodymusicproject 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject Well, there was blood found at the crime scene. Again, along with many other details of the crime, this tidbit is left out of the Paradise Lost films.
A Luminol test was conducted a few days after the murders. It revealed several areas of blood along the drainage ditch. The way the blood was dispersed also suggests there were multiple killers. Luminol testing was relatively new in 1993 and not allowed as evidence in Arkansas court.
ted818283 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject The defense repeatedly claimed there was no blood at the crime scene during the trial. They were admonished by the judge and told if they made that claim again he would allow the Luminol test as evidence.
ted818283 1 week ago
@woodymusicproject they did find blood close to where they found the bodies. the luminol tests werent admitted into court. thats a good question though bc there prob should be more blood than what they found.

@woodymusicproject They were murdered at the crime scene. Despite supporter claims and wild theories there has never been any actual evidence to suggest the crime scene was a dump site.

@Lethalstorm
They weren't murdered at the scene, but it wasn't far away, still wooded, still isolated.
Terry claims he heard the water splash before he found his son's body.

Not true with Facebook.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Yeah, I hate that too. That and not being able to post links...You said, "This comment reminds me that no matter what evidence I present to supporters it's usually met with skepticism." I was trying like hell to figure out which post you were referring to...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff I think your comment began with agree we disagree.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Ah, well I was wrong, because here I am again...

@pearljambuff And your family and friends will be proud you've joined the 21st Century once you get a Facebook page. I held out for a while too, was egged on by my brother.
And FFS YouTube, I can't leave a few comments without you popping up and saying I've left too many and have to enter code to leave another.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Yeah, my sister has been trying to talk my into it for quite some time now...I'm such a dork, I had to look up FFS. (Can't believe I admitted that). Like I told Lethalstorm, I have met so many cool nons over the years... Sucks that there is just this one thing, we can't get past.
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff It's the same over on the Facebook page, we joke about it.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 And about the code, I have gotten that three times already today...So yeah, I agree...

@pearljambuff Let me know here when you've set up your page.

@pearljambuff Forgot to mention there are many WM3 Facebook pages as well—both pro and con. The big one is the WM3 . o r g page, which is a supporter page. There's also WM3Truth which is a non-supporter page. WM3Truth also has a website you should check out.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 And you'll probably find a Facebook page for Pearl Jam, or lacrosse, or knitting, if that's what you're into. Holy shit I've become a corporate shill for Facebook.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Believe me. I know all about WM3.o r g, The West Memphis Three Hoax, WM3 Blackboard, Wm3Truth, need I go on? I told you, my username has nothing to do with my interest in this case. I have studied it, profusely. Notice two that I mentioned are non-sites...I have heard both sides, and have not been swayed. In my eyes, they are innocent. Nothing I hate more than child molesters, and child killers. There's no way I would back them up, if I thought at all, that they did this...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@ted818283 Oh you meant these are facebook pages? I was talking about message boards. Sorry.
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@ted818283 Do you work for Facebook? "And your family and friends will be proud you've joined the 21st Century once you get a Facebook page." Reading through your comments again, it sounded like a commercial. I will get to that later. Got the day off, better get some stuff done...Till then...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@ted818283
Yeah it didn't used to be this way. The quality of YT site keeps going down, while they kowtow to the advertisers more and more.
hollyzone 6 days ago
@pearljambuff @Lethalstorm I know this sounds dorky, but you two seem like you enjoy discussing the case. There's a Facebook page called WM3 Civil Discussion Group, you two should join. There are both supporters and non-supporters there capable of being respectful in their posts.
ted818283 1 week ago
@ted818283 Ah, yet again, I am intrigued...I do not have a facebook page. But I might create one just for that. Sidenote: Not "dorky" at all.
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff You will assimilate like the rest of us and get a Facebook page. Mwahaha!

@ted818283 Yeah, damn you. Resisted the urge, all this time...

I do not know if TH did this or not. But, again, all I am saying is, he should definitely be looked into, further.

@pearljambuff I agree with that.

Michael Crowe was known as "The Devil Son Who Murdered the Angel Daughter." Funny thing is, not only did he confess to the crime in great detail, so did his friend, and so called "accomplice". There you have it, two confessions. Turns out, it was someone else...Just goes to show you...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff Reading about Crowe now. It's still not clear whether or not he killed his sister. The guy that was ultimately convicted for the murder, Richard Tuite, won his appeal late last year on grounds of insufficient evidence.

@ted818283 stfu you are don't make sense...TROLL

@7pretty7 Instead of just coming on here and making insults why don't you argue your point. Maybe it's because you can't.
ted818283 1 week ago
Oops, meant that last one for Lethalstorm, not me.
pearljambuff 1 week ago
The list goes on...All I hear from nons is, "Oh, supporters don't want to mention this or that." What about nons? I haven't talked to one non yet that has mentioned anything about Terrys violent past. It works both ways...
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff Yet another supporter who ignores actual evidence against the WM3. Nothing to say regarding the similar mtDNA sequences on the hairs to Damien Echols?
Lethalstorm 1 week ago
@Lethalstorm Oh, you are referring to the "birthday problem"? So how can you say it's "evidence against the WM3", if they're not sure if it's Jacobys hair or Damiens? You can't. I noticed, you didn't even mention it is consistent with Jacoby. Who ignores what?
pearljambuff 1 week ago
@pearljambuff From one of my previous posts:
There is one other surprising pair of similarities among the samples. David Jacoby is a single nucleotide distant from Damien Echols.
From another of my previous posts:
David Jacoby: 152 C, 263 G, 309.1 C, and 315.1 C.
Damien Echols: 152 C, 263 G, 309.1 C, 315.1 C and 16239 G.
Try again?
