I think that Dave's a lot better than Courtney in many ways. Besides, what she does best is riding on the legacy of Kurt, talking about him a lot and getting paid for it, while Dave tries as much as he can to be quiet about Kurt's death and be in his own band with its own identity.
I hardly remember Dave and Krist doing interviews about Kurt's death while Courtney is basking in the camera lights talking about how much money she gets from Nirvana's music.

Kurt had an addiction problem, and if you ever lived with anyone who has ever had a sever addiction problem not only does it affect you physically & mentally, but PSYCHOLOGICALLY as well. Forensic evidence prevailed, not to mention the fact Courtney was in REHAB herself when the actual suicide took place, there was no way for her to physically be in two locations at once. There has been many conspiracies like that Courtney hired someone to kill Kurt, but I don't really think that happened. And you must factor in that Kurt had an odd dream as a teenager. He pretty much told his family and friends that he was gonna make music, get famous, and die before he turned 30, the way he was wired, it was inevitable.
