There are many sound and clear hadith conceming the unlawfulness of building mosques over graves or putting lights on them. Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: "The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'May Allah destroy the Jews, because they used the graves of their prophets as places of worship.'' (Bukhari and Muslim)
'Aishah reported: "Umm Habibah and Umm Salamah mentioned to Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, a church in which they saw drawings while in Abyssinia, whereupon he said: 'Those people used to build a place of worship over the grave of a righteous man among them when he died and make such drawings in it.These will be the worst of people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.'' (Bukhari and Muslim)
Jabir (RA) reported: "The Prophet, peace be upon him, forbade the whitewashing of a grave, sitting on it, or erecting any structure on it." (Reported by Ahmad, Muslim, Nasa'i, Abu Daw'ud, and Tirmidhi who said that it is a sound hadith)
What is this? Whose Ziarat is this? Ya Ghous, who is he? To pray and lament/recite about the grandson of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) is bidaat, but, aboutya ghouse is okay? I was in India, Ahmadabad to be exact, and, there were these types of shrines and we were taken on a tour, and, there I saw these types of people bring animal puppets and wave around and sing and read, I told my mother in law I was leaving, this was fake. Tobaah!
Believe or not since years I was trying hard to find someone in Bughdad who could convey my salams in person at Roza Ghouse e PakRA, but due to crucial situation no contact was available online. It is my love for Mehboobul Subhani Qutubual Rabani RA that I found the web of AlGaylani Hazrat Sahib has recently seems to have created this valuable web.
