jimping is the serations on the back of the blade to hold the thumb in place, just fyi. really help the hand not moving forward, some knives have better jimping than others, some have no jimping, Spyderco does good jimping, and im really happy with my rat 1 folder by ontario

Here in Germany we cant even carry knives that you can open with one hand. (only knives that you need two hands for)

Or fixed blades longer than 12 cm (4.7 inch that is).

Let alone the guns! You cant just get a gun here, you need a reason to have one. And personal protection isnt one.

@wastlh here in belgium everything is illegal i think belgium hast the most strict weapon law in the world ... for us and me too ofcourse it's illegal to carry : a gun , fixed blades, automatic knives, assist knives, balisongs, only thing we can carry is like u said 2 hand opening knives but the blade length can't be longer than 8cm, and only single edged ... but it doesn't stop , even if u carry a blade like that still police can take it if u don't have reason to carry it ....
