Im sure God loves you.. he loves us all and is very forgiving but don't make the mistake in thinking its right. I have no problem with gay people its your choice (and yes it is a choice i don't believe your born with it) but im completely against gay marriage and i don't want my kids to be around gay people.. i don't want them to be confused or exposed to that.. in the end God will judge you and even if he loves you he is against it.

I don't think OLTL is "Christian-bashing" by portraying the Fish's negative reaction to Oliver coming out to them. Unfortunately, this is the reception many gay people get from their loved ones. That is not portraying Christians negatively, it is honest.

If the concerned "Christians" who continue to comment on these episodes don't like the "questionable morality" of the characters, perhaps soap opera is not the best genre for them to entertain themselves with.

What is wrong with you people? Its a soap opera. It's for entertainment purposes. We're not here to hate and debate God and homosexuality. Why can't you just enjoy the show and watch some good writing and acting. Kudos to OLTL for bringing this subject into light in such a way. The message here is LOVE. Love is not anger and hate and DISCRIMINATION. It's not judgmental. Its about compassion and learning to understand things and PEOPLE we might not necessarily agree with. Lighten up please!

First, can you imagine a person chosing a sexual orientation where they would be persecuted?? What would be the point?

Secondly, we do see many instances of same-sex relationships among non-human animals. You can even view samples on youtube, although, I would suggest doing some real research on the topic before continuing to spread "ignorance". I don' t mean to be rude here, but saying that other animals don't have same-sex relationships is showing your igornce on this topic.

ditto that. i don't agree with the gay lifestyle but if my child wwere gay i would love them no matter what even if i didn't approve of how they were living their life. if you are really a Christian that understands how God loves us unconditionally , you could never disown your child.

i really hope one life to live doesn't continue to portray Christians as one-dimensional hate mongers. I have watched this show for 19 years, but i will stop watching if they keep up the Christian bashing.

I agree with you to a degree. I think Carlotta has portrayed a different dimension about Christians, but she is only seen sparingly.

OLTL is mostly showing Christians as antagonist, which makes the story somewhat one-dimensional and predictable,
