I think skiver stage and storm owl second stage is the same airship.

on X3 the fire element is Blast Hornet. Blast is same as blaze, burst, etc. so Blast hornet is Fire, and Japanese name is Explose Horneck.

on Lauch Octopus. the real name is Launcher Octopuldo or Launcher Octopardo.

on whirling stairs. Weapon Center(infinity Mijinion stage) has whirling stirs on the background, just in reversed direction.

to me the unused track "Deep Sea" reminds me of an 80s TV show called Airwolf. since the two songs were similar but obviously used foir a water level they probably changed their mind son useing it for that stage. so they reached back and remade one of their old songs to place in it instead. Good finds, I enjoyed it. that Elecman stage always had me laughing when I used to paly it, but putting popular music in games helps sell the game and the band the song is made from. On to the Next

One thing I noticed in Megaman X the other day when I was messing around is that, though rolling sheild is Launch Octupus' weakness if you use Boomer Kuwanger's Boomerang it cuts all of his tentacles off, meaning he cant fire torpedoes.
