@champaca error 10xx or 1013 is when your iPhone is stuck in recovery mode and you need to download something called tiny umbrella then select your device and put exit recovery and your device should be downgraded

Hello All, Need Help.

At Step 5 I am not getting white screen. Instead I get a prompt from iReb saying device is in PWNED DFU state. Continue with restore.

So I open Itunes and restore and get 1601 at the end.

Disconnect USB and try again.

Strangely, when I disconnect, iphone screen turns white.

Secont time restore finishes with error 1604.

This is frustrating, I have tried like 10 times.

Please Advise.

workin 1601 fix.. Put iphone/ipod on DFU PWNd with iReb, open up itunes and shift restore your firmware. After the extracting then it will restore, after that you will hear the USB connection sound (the sound wen u plug in a usb device) wen u hear that, kill Itunes.exe with task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) keep ireb runing, re open itunes again and shift restore again, this time ur iphone/ipod DFU will light up :).. once again kill itunes after usb sound. then run itunes again n repeat, FIXED! !

i kept using this ireb and kept getting 1601 different versions of it, still nothing.when i decide to open the iphone 3g and change the battery. problem solved. no need to use this ireb. i could restore the iphone 3g again.check your hardware on the phone if still does not restore. iphone 4 black screen try jailbreaking or restoring again. if nothing comes on. use dfu helper.if nothing happens you are not using the ireb correctly. worst case scenario a hardware issue...

@Randyvdmeer Yes latest, and downgraded from 4.3.5 to 4.3.3. The recovery proccess worked fine, but in the end, it just turned off, and now its like if its turned off, but cant turn on. I tried recovery fix, and the screen works, so that means my ipod is not broken. Its just plain black, and everytime i connect it, itunes says its in recovery mode. I tried to exit recovery using several programs, and no success. PLEASE HELP!!

firstly thanks for your reply, I have 32gig iPhone 4. One day it just shut itself off and wouldnt turn on again. That is it's in recovery mode. Tried restoring in iTunes and comes up with 'unknown error 1600' . This fhone was bought through a telstra (one of the most popular service providers in Australia) so im sure it's locked to this provider. I've never attempted to jailbreak it so...

When I use ireb there is no .ipsw file because i've never needed custom firmware... :(~
