There are two different reasons put forward... First it was said it was a massive asthma attack. Brenda was in bed with her partner when it happened. And later rumours say that it was due to cocaine.

I prefer the first reason.. Either way, Brenda did go into a coma which she didn't recover from. Very sadly she died in hospital some days later.... Whatever cause, it is a damn shame. I miss her to bits, and have loads of her CDs.
