And, for the record, no, those aren't electric strings on the guitar. I typically use Acoustic Elixir Polyweb 0.012 - 0.056 strings. While not being on the thinner side for acoustic strings, they certainly don't quite match the thinness of the strings on my electrics ;-)

As for the tuning, the original track off the album is tuned down a 1/2 step. In true lazy fashion, my recording is probably tuned somewhere inbetween standard and 1/2 step down ;-)

Unfortunately, I can't fully answer your question since the this video was recorded much earlier than the April 2008 posting... which, in itself is now over a year old ;-) If I had to venture a guess, though, I'd say was probably using Elixir Polyweb .11 or .12 strings. I can't say for sure that I was using them way back on this recording, but, they're the brand of strings I've been using for at least a year now.

And, yeah, I hear you there. When this was originally posted, it was a video from my archives before I purchased my Masterbilt. The one I'm playing here is a 15+ year old Yamaha cheap-o. It still gets the job done, but can't quite compete sound-wise with any type of fancier guitar ;-)
