hello. i also have this type of tv. funny thing is i think they removed the favorite channel option or "previous channel" option where u can just skip between two channels with just pressing a single button and not having to type the actual channel. or maybe i havent just figured it out yet. PLS PLS PLS HELP. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO DO IT.
What did you do?? I work many years in TV and electronics. NEVER LAY DOWN YOUR PLASMAS ON FRONT. It's not LCD. READ ABOUT THAT and you know what i mean. Sorry for my english.
@adacho2412 Not to worry my friend,it's been more then a year now and the TV is still working perfect,Knock on wood many more years to come, take care!
@bleeb129 No you fucking idiot. I'm not fucking 4 years old. I know what i'm talking about. Do some research you dumbass. GO look up a fucking 42 inch LG LED LCD and compare it to a 42 inch samsung plasma. Do the same for every lcd tv and compare it BY SCREEN SIZE and the price will definitely be higher. Don't act like you know what you're talking about when you don't have a fucking clue.
Plasmas have better color accuracy than LCD, but there are LEDs that are catching up with that. Plasmas have its flaws as well, perhaps more than LCD. I think ppl who hate on plasma are the ones who can't afford a big screen LCD or LED. But if anyone is going to go the plasma route, I would highly recommend Panasonic or Samsung for the 3D models.
GettingMyRollOn is INCORRECT! Lying a Plasma or an LCD TV on it's face is OK. The saying that you are not suppose to is a Dumb, Stupid Myth. Jakeandar did an excellant job.
I'm a repair technician authorizied and factory trained for Panasonic and lying a Plasma on it's face is OK. In fact during training the technician said that lying the TV flat on a blanket is OK. I do not know where the stupid myth comes from. Just be careful not to drop it slightly because the glass can break. if the glass breaks then the warranty voids.
Plasmas are way better then LCD's dude, but you have to know, laying the plasma down like that has got to be the dumbest thing you could have done, you're not supposed to lay down Plasmas like that, or ANY kind of flat panel tv for that matter!
The Parts are expensive, some cost more then a brand new TV, please buy the Customer Care Plan to insure that it will last the 100,000 hours it is was intended to.

I prefer Plasma's as I find them easier on the eyes. Better black levels as well. Awesome tv.

@mavsfan1000 Ya so do I,the only way to get better quality from an LCD is to spend quite a bit more,at least double!
