Possibly the greatest worker in WWE in the year 2000, and this is coming from a guy who absolutely hates him and wants him to die. As good as he can be in the ring (by WWE standards, anyway...) there's a reason that HHH is a 3-Time Most Overrated Of The Year award winner.
But his personality and his politics aren't the topic here. His Indian Deathlock is impressive and executed well. However, he can know 1000 moves and I'll still hate him for his actions outside of the ring. Political snake...
@CMY187 Pretty harsh choice of words there, but I can totally understand what you mean, he HAS dug his claws in pretty damn deep and it has not been all for the better whatsoever.
Impresive video Mikko, lol. Doing a HHH video is not easy, but you did great. Would be great to see you do Shawn Michaels video, as a tribute or something.
@TheInsanityGame I think you're looking for the Undertaker. lol I only picked moves that he in some capacity adopted as his own. Using Benoit's holds (or arguably Bret's with the Sharpshooter) years after the fact isn't so much borrowing the move.
2:07 let the knee drop hit the floor... let the knee drop hit the floor... let the knee drop hit the floor... let the knee drop hit the...... FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR
@MrPaparounaki lol Yup, he's used it enough times on sufficiently varied occasions for me to consider it a move he's fully adopted as one of his own. I recall seeing it at least 4-5 times sprinkled here and there.
Thank you SOOOO much for including the Indian Deathlock and putting it at #2. One of my all-time favorite moves and I go crazy whenever the Game locks it on. =)
Triple H may never be THE best but he's got to be a candidate for the Top Ten.
@frandseib Well, if less than ten years from the last use is new, then yes. :P I don't think I was too strict. The actual basic rules is that if I've never seen it in the context of a match, I can't very well include it on a list. Though I HAVE seen HHH's first match in WWE, I decided to disqualify it as 'not his move' since he abandoned it and fairly quickly too from what I understand.
@noesupert I only ever saw him do a Sharpshooter once and a DVD NEVER. lol Kinda had to base it on my experiences. The Crossface he used repeatedly, so that I felt he took as his own move more so than the Sharpshooter.
@deathkinggodfather1 TBH i dont really remember, and no one seems to have the clip so i might have been mistaken, but i think it was in a match with Benoit
@SuperDragonICP As cool as it is, it just hasn't won him a single match I woulda seen. That's kinda why pretty much all of my vids are topped by finishers. They're effective. lol
@TheSuperplex1001 lol Like I say in the description, I've been a fan since right when I started watching, but I did get kinda sick of his exposure at one point when he just would not stop starting Raws and holding the title. Hunh... I'm sensing a pattern... :P
last move his best moveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

How was the inverted Indian deathlock number 2? He hardly uses it, H uses the figure four alot more.
Jose1382 2 months ago
@Jose1382 A figure four is much less interesting or unique. And the deathlock was his finisher back before he deputed in WWE.
IAmTheMikko 2 months ago
@IAmTheMikko Would you compare Triple H using the deathlock to Undertaker doing the Tombstone during his ABA, Big Evil, Red Devil days?
Jose1382 2 months ago
@Jose1382 Probably not, I don't really see too many parallels...
IAmTheMikko 2 months ago
Funny thing is that pendulum backbreaker is sold exactly like that in the WWE videogames.
