  • i love this song

  • It is going to take effort, but I need to find some Cover Girls CDs stat.

  • Just hearin dis brings me back. It was luv back then...

  • oldschool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There people go w/ the comparison crap again. Anybody from this era wasn't comparing who was better. Expose vs cover girls, vs sweet sensations, vs safire, etc. They were just glad to be there. That's the difference between the generation that lived it n' enjoyed and this generation, who'se so trigger happy w/ the criticism. Haven't you heard..."Look for the negative and you'll find it."

  • true that:80's freestyle was about having fun, getting on the dance floor and just jam.A lot of them did concerts together,I saw sweet sensation, pajama party, stevie b,denise lopez in san diego 1n 89 i was only 11 they were all having fun and enjoying themselves with nobody beefing or comparing each other they just wanted to make good music and give the fans their moneys worth, and they did that it was the best concert that i have ever gone to,I agree a lot with you this comparison crap is nonsense

  • i wish they would bring songs like this back old school baby!

  • Also, Angel, and Caroline are both Puerto Rican. After Angel left the group Evelyn who took her place, was also Puerto Rican. And when Margo left Michele Valentine was half Puerto Rican, half African American. Just want to get the facts right! Margo was Hungarian.

  • Hector,

Get your facts straight!! I know the Original Covergirls well to this day. None of them ever had a dog in the Limo's! Are you buggin? Also, Caroline was and is an extremely nice & generous person who is still helping with many charities. You obviously do not know her. Nor did she ever have a fur coat. lol.

Most people she knew were not even her real friends until she got into show business, then everyone wanted to be her friend. The 3 girls all worked very hard together. That's the truth

  • First of all I was talking about Caroline. Her father which is Pete Jackson taught me and my brothers Kung Fu in his garage. Not to say if you even know her sister Kim who worked for the Police Dept and her brother Christian. And yes Caroline was always the snooty type. I guess when you fall off you horse then you begin to see things in Reality.

Again, I was their neighbor in Queens Village but I won't give out her address on You Tube.

So you figure it out if you want to be so sarcastic. LOL

  • Hector,

You have some serious issues. I know exactly who the family is and where they live, and a lot more about them than you do. And dude, this was like twenty years ago! Why do you still even care. You were obviously, one of her neighbors who all of a sudden wanted to be her best friend. And to stoop so low to give out her families personal information. That's just wrong. Go see a therapist to help you through your past traumas.

  • To see a therapist, please swallow what I told

you and leave it at that. Great that she is helping in an Orphange, and

no I did not give out the personal information like you said...What giving a City is personal.

Please, don't reply back because it will just go to my junk mail. What junk is sent to me it will be junk sent back. You don't know shit. Please I've grown up with the whole family and know more than you so please don't come throwing me ideas.Your are 20yrs too late.

  • And wanted to be her best friend please, You are making me gage. I never even cared about what record she made big shit. Did you even think about that I Hector would have even brought one. This is 20 years ago so stop with

the bull. I just posted MY COMMENT AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. WHAT ARE YOU MARRIED TO HER?????

    PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DOMINICAN POWER, WE LOVE ANGEL

  • Esa voz de gatita sexy me vuelve loco (crazy), locoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

  • esta cancion esta exelente fuen de lo mejor del freestyle .... tu amigo ziualt de mejico saludos a ti....

  • my music range is very wide. to alice in chians to the covergirls

  • i remember dancing like a nut to this song when i was 4 (87), and my parents even captured the my crazy dance moves on video. hate watching the home video but love the song. 80's music are timeless.

  • Oh my...reminds me of a simpler and happier life that seems oh so long ago. I wish I could go back to sixth grade again when the world was a better happier place. This is as close as time travel you can get : )

  • so true isn't that so sad though.

  • I Agree

  • I agree 100%.

  • disz takes me way bak my fam use 2 stay playin freestlye nd still doess freestyle was da shiit nd still issz lo0ol

  • I wasnt born until 1989 but my older sister loooovveesss freestyle and i she wanted to school me on real latin music so now i absolutely love this song!!!!

  • I met Expose inperson, when they did a Live Performance at the Local Night Club in SF back in 1986.

man, I miss the 80's, Good Music and Good Times!

  • I can't believe I'm watching this! (laughing at myself)

  • Is Angel (main singer) puertorican? I find her totally charming and beautiful. Love this song when i was in HS.

  • Just like Seduction it is a situation where the real singer of the 3 is with two hot stand in chicks. She's pretty enough though. Cool song.

  • I had to put this in. Her neighbors I won't give their names out but one day she came home after the big hit "Show Me, Show Me" and it was a warm day and she came out of the limousine with a little dog and the dog was peeing on her fur coat. My Neighbor is trying to tell her that and she flips him off not with her finger, but with a shrug. Me and my neighbors laughed and laughed, so Caroline now lives in Iowa I believe. Has been. Actions speak louder than words I guess.

    Hector

  • Hector,

The only thing you are right about is Caroline does live in Iowa. She opened up an orphanage for foster children, and has dedicated her life to helping them.

  • First of all one of the singers was Caroline Jackson. I grew up with her in Queens Village, still her parents live there. Caroline became such a snob once she started performing. The reason why the group disbanded was because of each wanting to out do the other and bad management. Don't get me wrong I used to go to

her shows and she didn't even want to recognize me or my brothers. Shows you that when you become a star sometimes your noise flares up and you forget where you came from.

    Hector

  • shit..i used to hate FREESTYLE..now looking back it was great. that whole era was great. look at the garbage and shit that radio/mtv plays...nothing but garbage shit.

  • Exactly. THis music was the best!!!

  • sexy heels and feet!!!

  • this song brings me back to LAmour East,Roseland, studio 54.etc Those days will never come back.I sure miss them.........

  • the 80's....wish this kind of music would come back...

  • The voice of this tasty treat was carried this group!

  • Fashion in the 80's was great! So much style back then. Average people looked like models. Did anyone else remember wearing flower jeans during this time period? I did. lol

  • the fashion! i forgot about it until I saw this again! Ah...the mid 80's my fave times! Wish i could go back....

  • love this song!!!!

  • 1018 nyc

  • mto bom esse clipe!!!

  • Brings back memories, man I wish I could live through the mid 80s through the early 90s

  • WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? WHAT!!! Tell me about '76....memories...I wish I could go back in the day...esp. with the experience that I have gained...What ever happened to this kind of music???

  • I guess there is a generational difference. I was born in 76. Hehe

  • This song reminds me of a Club called The Castle(in the Bronx)Benny Day was the club promoter.I gave out hundreds of flyers for this guy.....Thanks for the memories!!!!!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SONG !!!!

  • i was never born in the 80s but i absolutely love freestyle !!!!

  • back then it was hot 103.

love this. shout out to mount vernon class of 93!

  • Sammy you are crazy..I am a 40 year old black woman and have love freestyle since the 80's..I dont like hip hop at all ok? Old freestyle, disco and oldies are my kinda of music...I went to the freestyle concert at the garden, im not puerto rican but was i wrong to go? I didnt know freestyle was only made for puerto ricans..guess i better toss out my micmac records and not go to the next concert in july 2008!

  • I love you and would love to have romantic love with you in a romantic way plus romance. July 2008? I am there. Where is it at anyway?

  • Freestyle extravaganza at madison square garden...coro. cover girls..tka...rob base...johnny o..giggles...george lamond..and more

  • I coulda sworn it was called "loft" mzk... the noel song... silent morning set that off... I guess it was a part of freestyle... but for some reason... I liked both hip hop, r&b, salsa, etc. too. This wasn't just boricuas tho. It was whoever was in the hood.

  • what happend to this girl. why they stop singing.. i think 80's music is better then now.

  • sammy1324, your comments are ignorant and incorrect. A good number of whites and blacks were ALSO involved in recording freestyle music. And as far as young puerto ricans acting black and listening to hip-hop, puerto ricans were involved in hip-hop from the beginning as well. And LASTLY, a goodly number of puerto ricans have african ancestry so, there are some connections on that level as well. Freestyle belongs to everyone.

  • YOU ARE DOG GONE RIGHT!!! KEEP IT UP!!!

  • Another great 80's song. ^_^

  • i really like this song. what a weird video!

  • Now this real music. The 80's had real music and real talent Freestyle Forever

  • mto bom esse clipe, vale a pena vê-lo várias vezes!!!

  • lol. that is so nasty but I love it !!!

  • reminds me of the first time i got laid in a vw bug . old 64 bug was a rockin n she was a screemin . thanks cover girls boy i covered her

  • I got this song on my iPod. This song kicks ass. BRING BACK THE 1980'S

  • This is when Puerto Ricans had their own kind of music. Now all the young ones act black and only listen to hip-hop. We cant we have our own thing?

  • I'm talking about Puerto Ricnans form here in the USA. I know about salsa, but you have to admit that this freestyle sound originated in the PR communities on the east coast.

  • Sammy1324, The Freestyle sound had thier influrence from the Hip-Hop culture of the 1980's It originated from the streets of NYC.Blacks and Ricans contribute to the music.Alot of the songs was written/produced by blacks,I Know,I was there! I grew up with some of them. Before you make a comment like that, do your reserach.....

  • Wow, that was ignorant beyond belief.

  • It was? How so? You know it true. All the young PR's act back and only listen hip-hop.

  • I don't know if you just want to piss me off and be an asshole, but I'll answer your question as if you weren't. The fact that you make such strong generalizations suggest that you're just spouting nonsense for the sake of it. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

For "acting black", I am black and I don't follow those stereotypes that you're talking about. Not only PRs and blacks follow an urban lifestyle. Second, there are plenty of Puerto Ricans that DON'T listen to hip-hop. I know many.

  • By you making that comment,I know for a fact your're not from new york city..

  • Sounds a lot like Expose. (Seasons change, feelings change...)

  • great

  • Not to sound mean and I am not a "hater"(ugh loathe that word sounds so "I wish I was on MTV in a rap video") but I never really liked Angel's voice. I don't like the helium thing. However I thought the music itself was produced well and had great beats and it made me forget her little girl chipmunk on helium vocals.

  • what happend to this gir. where they know. they should come back with good beat song. they sing cool

  • I would like to hump all of them furiously

  • I remember Angel back when she used to come hang out on Gleason & Pugsley Ave., Bronx, NY. Way before her recording career. Her girl used to mess with my boy Ray Ski...She was cute then, but she definitely got better with time...that's a compliment to her.

  • all those lies iv already heard!

    EaStBrUtA

  • I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!!

  • It's easy to say...

but actions speak louder than words...

  • This is a song for all ages. I was still in middle school. And back then. Middle School was called Junior High School. Time flys and this is one song and group. That will stand the test of time.

  • the queens of freestyle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats thelead singers name???I was in high school head over heels in love with her..

  • she has a real name but the only one thats important is Angel Civilles. part of c&c music factory robert civilles

  • Whooooo....Sin-sa-tive.. I have a women, chill out baby boy...

  • I only said that because thats the name she released her solo albums under

  • hey wats up. im 17 too and i'm the only one out of my friends to like music but i think its growin on them. to be real wit ya'll i like this kind of music more than rap. this kind of music they should play a lot more on the radio
