  • This song is sung so well that it bring a tear or two up.

On the other hand, those who think we have ideal capitalism (that the academics of all stripes in the enlightenment called for) are deluded. It is a phalasy that we have capitalism... What we have is STATE Capitalism which seeks to centralise everything. The same goes for Conservative Socialism. What we need to do is ban central organisations like Central Banks and central regulation, we need to divide power to the PEOPLE.

  • Alba gu brath. First they ignore you, then they insult you, then they fight you, then you WIN.

  • Beautiful version of a wonderful song

  • the sing is soft, but fuck, i like it :)

  • Baah

  • ..." ...and expected to die for the land of our birth...when we've never owned one handful of earth..." Wow, doesn't that ring true in the past and right now? Genius song and singer.

  • every word true

  • Workers of the world! UNITE!

  • Erin go Bragh!!! Greetings from Hungary!

  • Incredible song. Incredible performance. 4 people have their head up their arse and wanted to show you.

  • Great! greetings from shipyard worker

  • @necrofetishist They will be back again soon.Ireland has a small navy,so why wont a Independent Scotland?Build them good and the word will get about. And the work should pile in.As unfortunatly mankind likes to fight wars.My Dad was in the navy.He told me that Glasgow boats were shodily made.Compared to the likes of Belfast. And we are from Glasgow. If that was true then,we will need to do better in the future. He is 72 years old.

  • @legandrydirk good thinking,buddy...I am from Croatia, our shipyard in my home town was world famous,we have built the most best ships in world, but politicians, europe and all other capitalistic pigs have almost ruined shipyard...but we're still building ships and I hope that we will build them in the future...no one knows ecept people who worked in shipyard what a bloody job is this...

  • Just can't beat DKM's version but this is okay if your into this stuff...

  • We are the 99%!

  • A better world is coming! We just need to clear the obstacles in its way.

    International working class solidarity

  • whats he up to now

his web site is pre ketchup

  • Fabulous guitar playing.

  • I'm pretty anti-union, to be honest...They seem counterproductive. I just want to work, I don't need no goddamned union telling me how productive to be. If I make you look unproductive, that's your own fault.

  • @wrath1987 Unions are set up to protect the worker and prevent them being thrown on the dole and abused by unscrupulous employers.

  • @wrath1987 Individuals have no voice. Thinks about it. Only the law ended slavery, outlawed 12 hour days, along with dangerous machinery, practices and substances. Little of this has been done voluntarily, if anything. The ideal capitalism IS slavery.

  • @SirPrised The ideal capitalism is not industrial.

  • @intricatic Absolutely right! The ideal of capitalism is not corporations and big business, but small and medium businesses. THAT is where where ideal competition comes from. What we are seeing in this country are to many monopolies and not enough competition.

  • @intricatic I doubt you'd enjoy living in a pre-industrialised world. We need 'responsible capitalism' but it ain't going to happen.

  • @SirPrised I think I've already spent a few years in an environment comparable. Wasn't that bad once you get used to it. You just do a lot more for yourself rather than relying on other people - and can't take anything for granted. Seems living is less cheap that way.

  • to the gulag!

  • a wee while ago. we awe looked like that. we looked like wur ships where ur we and them noo awe tae fuck. dinni fashe. wanse the songs go deed. wir awe deed. keep it goin dick

  • all these years i never heard this. wow. I'm floored. amazing.

  • the dropkicks version is not bad but this is the one that made me fall in love with this song and definitley made me a socialist

  • Socialism is NOT a dirty word. Bless the musicians who deliver the message

  • UNION YES! FUCK WALL STREET!

  • 100,000 views! Thanks to everyone who has watched, liked and commented!

  • unreal song, unreal singer. can't believe i've never hear of this lad before today. Unbelievable, True talent.

  • @fmacdomhnaill Youve been bitten by the bug now!

  • @fmacdomhnaill LOL hardly a lad now...he's been around since the 70's? I first saw him in 1985 at the Maltings in Farnham and again last year at Belladrum Festival near Inverness...still going strong...

  • Workers Unite!!!

  • Awesome!

  • this is the most beutiafull rendition of socialist lyrics so far

  • @hejsvejk money rules n corrupts all in the usa

  • @useacondompeople my new aston agrees with you... :D

  • He is one of the most passionate folk singers I have ever heard. Met him at a gig in Glenfarg and he was fantastic...inspired me to play guitar and sing songs for freedom and humanity!!!

  • We need revolt today more than people have ever needed it before. All we need is a spark.

  • ชอบ

  • Labor needs to be an international movement.

  • Gannon Dick

  • Good evening, donnachadelong. I was only asking what words meant. I believe there are differences in the way Gaelic is spoken in Ireland than the way it is spoken in Scotland. I have no political axe to grind. If memory serves, Gaelic wasn't the language exclusively spoken in Central Scotland, (the ancient Kingdom of Strathclyde etc.) where I think they spoke Scots, not to be confused with Scottish Gaelic.. I'm fairly sure the same was true in Northumbria (I think they spoke Anglian).

  • @gorky6uk

Sorry but that new age neo-nazi germanic propaganda and your not gonna slip that one by anyone, Gaelic is the official language of Scotland and even the first Canadians and confederate forefathers of Canada spoke Gaelic, Lower Scots has never been a language other then dialect used by the lawless unloyal med-evil border reivers whome raped and pillages the Scottish and English border countys, simple as, just like most Germanics, rapist and murderers and here you are spreading propaganda

  • @phr34kyy

Just like in Wales children their Welsh CELTIC children where BEATEN in schools with STICKS by the Anglo-Saxon germanic ENGLISH (Angles) to not speak their native CELTIC Welsh language.

English is not and never will be the official language, its used only in the last 80 years more prodominantly for economicaly and political reasons and French and Latin where used for a FAAAAR longer time in Celtic nations because of the AULD ALLIANCE between Scotland and France then English.

  • @phr34kyy

Also English today is not even Germanic anymore other then the name for the language itself, over 45% of the English language is FRENCH words and GREEK and Latin, and it uses the LATIN ALPHABET.

You do have a political axe to grind your yet another, and one of millions of Germanic propagandist, we see your like daily posting in Celtic music and art forums and videos spreading like rats, a cancer, which is disgusting.

  • @phr34kyy well said..Arwenydd ;) <3

  • @gorky6uk You're a great loss to the Diplomatic Corps, aren't you? You don't know me; you don't know anything about me, yet you seem to make some fairly inaccurate assumptions. I studied Latin and French at school albeit longer ago than I care to remember. Perhaps you'd like to moderate your tone? I was only interested in what a particular phrase meant.

  • we are fucked in the uk, weak and we get the goverment we deserve.

  • Comment removed

  • 2 people have no taste in music :)

  • Does anybody know what peacefrog1916's foreign language posting means?

  • @gorky6uk I believe it means Free Scotland and Ireland.

  • @gorky6uk I think, a chara, that your Germanic Anglo-Saxon language is the foreign one. It means Free Scotland and Ireland in Gaelic - the language of the North of Britain, the Northern isles and Western Island for an estimated 3,000 years.

  • keep singing young man

  • damn Commies

  • im a communist myself. though that system is not without its flaws as well. i think its wrong that 40% of the wealth is in the hands of less than 5%. thats like french revolution status.we dont necesarily need a system change. we need a policy change. we need politicians who arent looking to make financial gains. who have no private interests. who are willing to bust the balls of big buisiness, take away their billion dollar bonuses, make minimum wage something much more liveable, and fix shit.

  • @sammosaurusrex i think youre the type that has to watch zeitgeist and the wake up call.

  • Apyrael. Your comment is b.s. Now respect my athoritai!

  • Saor Alba agus Eireann!!!

  • @peacefrog1916 I want to "like" this ten thousand times over

  • The definitive version of a great song. And I recommend the album as well, probably the best folk album of the last 30 years.

  • @Sharpinsky84 I couldn't agree more. "Handful Of Earth" was worth the effort I made to track it down, many times over.

  • Scotland and Ireland FTW!!!

  • Im not religious but if your on here then you will know what I mean when I say all men are brothers. You've all been brought up by strong fathers/grandfathers/examples. Its not about politics its about being a real bloody man. You may think yourselves humble, but you are the quietly strong men who take care of their families happily without wanting to be rockstars or racists.I salute you brothers :)

  • Dick is just nostalgic for the old union and labour days. If that's his schtick, so to speak, after all these years, so be it. Frankly, I don't care about his politics....he's daft on that score anyway but I don't care. His fingerstyle technique is second to none and his singing is brilliant. He is a brilliant performer....period

  • Victory to the working class! workers of the world unite! revolution is the only solution! socialism will free us all from slavery!

  • My granda and my da raised me with NUM, the clydeside dockyards, jimmy reid and Dick Gaughan. I believe in socialism and Ive read the communist manifesto. What socialism doesnt solve for me is inherent human nature. We are part of nature thus are doomed to rise or fall, ultimately to fall. Survival of the fittest. Capitalism facilitates this, and it has its evils, but how many of you have lived in a communist or truly socialist country? I welcome discourse not slagging matches

  • @Kedfagan You are so right. For socialism to work, the rules would have to so draconian, it would be hell on earth. On the other hand those with power have never surrendered anything voluntarily, hence the need for Unions and the law of the land to protect workers. It's a sad truth, that humam nature is not given to fairness and the only regulator, religion, is in retreat, with nothing taking it's place. Incidentally, I am not religious.

  • I changed my name from dudelabowski6969.

All I can say is I am a moderate conservative. I Dont want people who dont work & leach off society to be able 2 live the good life, just as much as I dislike the wealthy elite who provide a service but leach off of society in a different way. I am a hard working ditchdigger myself & I just dont belive either extream is right for my country. Capitalism is a fine system that has been corrupted. My message is 'exsess' is bad weather its 2 the right or left

  • The thing is, most of us that work 40+ hours week & dedicate the rest 2 our families don't have the time 2 make our voices heard. For 2 long the Rich who control public agenda &the poor who have all the time in the world to beg for entitlements havehad control. But if us workers stoodtogether and voiced our thoughts, we have greater numbers then the Left&Right extreemist combined. In the USA you are seeing this with the TeaParty. Moderate consevatives & Libs joining forces. History is beingmade.

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx When you talk of those that leach off society are you talking of the likes of Bear Stearnes, Fannie Mae, Freedie Mac, Chrysler and so many outhers living 'High on the Hog' ,... thats indeed Socialism of a sort.. They just Socialised the Debts and privatised the Gainstransferring those Debts onto the backs of Working Poor for generations to come....... DickGaughan really nails the Lyrics of this song...

  • @malachy1847

Yes I am, to put it bluntly we are being fucked from all angles, and I belive the Working Class of USA has had enough. We always hear about the poor, the wealthy, & the middleclass. The middle class has no Idea how good they have it. This country's backbone and majority is the Working Class and just as the Working man does, just like mother nature, we always find a way. And I think you will see RealChange soon, the workingclass of the USA has had enough of funding special intrest

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx It'sreally great to hear from someone 'Stateside' that has a handle on what's going down over there so many bought into 'The American Dream' and care nothing about their fellow man just wanting to put down the guy beside them to get ahead, maybe there will be a rebirth of of 'the Working class' wherby we shall look to the shared humanity of all and believe that there is only one social class that can effect betterment for society and those on the margins of same.....

  • @malachy1847 as far a leaching off society. I am talking about the wealthy & the poor that the wealthy grant entitlements too with my hard earned tax dollars. there are too many entitlements in my country that encourage people not to work especially immigrants who work off the books and still claim the entitlements because they are undocumented, thus they have more wealth then most working class citizens here.

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx are you aware that the founders of the united states considered wage pay as a form of slavery but they planned to have it as a temperory measure? I know what your saying but that could be simply overcome by making it mandatory for un-employed to become employed by the government to help build houses, schools, re-newble energy sources, and other things which benefit everyone. Forget russia and all those tyrants, they werent socialist, although the USA likes to say they were

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx I don't want to get into a Youtube 'Wordfest' I Put up a comment ,Regarding WAR, which was eluded to in this song,, So in this regard i will give the fuller context and words that Big John McClean spoke to tens of thousands at an Anticonscription Rally on the Clydeside,, around 1916.. "A bayonet thats's a Weapon with a working man at either end, betray your Country serve your Class don't sign up for War my Friends Regarding Nationalism that's just mere Draggads Fiction"

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx Historically Immigrants have always been used by employers make a quick buck turinng to same in both the Good and Bad times, thus some promote this ready pool of labour [here we call same The black Economy where no taxes are payed] it drives down the cost of Labour, reduces opportunities for taxpayingLabours to garner payed employment ..there is nothing new here the U.S.was built on the back of Immigrants keeping their head down and doing what they could to get by.

  • @malachy1847 I personally dont have a proble with imigrants. Its the ones that make $600wk off the books and their wife claims poverty and gets welfare for her and her 4-6 kids. So in real dollars they are making more then honest tax payers and weekening the tax pool. Its a double whammy on the tax pool.

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx I thing the biggest drain on your tax pool would be the ongoing Debt racked up in Middleastern adventurism by those two Draftdodgers Bush and Cheney... that's now costing a not only Kings Ransom..but also the Deaths and injuries to those in Service allied with associated horrors and needless misery inflicted on hapless peoples...

  • @malachy1847 no arguement here. i have always been an isolationist. strength from within so to speak.

  • @xxLIBERTYorDETHxx That would have been the strength of Treue Republicanism as preached by your 'Founding Fathers' prior to the Doctorine of.. Americas....'Manifisty Destiny' ......which now seems to have gone Global

  • The STEEL in the building blocks of LIFE! (Forecast...Rain...Lot's of it)

  • absolutely beautifully said, why should socialism be a dirty word?

  • @JimmyJazz10

Because those who control the media & entertainment industry will not be in such aprivileged position.

And some morons just like being bosses men and other fools always think their be the lucky ones and win the lottery or some other bullshit.

  • I've seen Dick Gaughan driving a 60k Mercedes and wearing a Rolex. I think he's gone money mad! Working class my ass!

  • i was gonna start debating like every other idiot on youtub,,e then i reached for the volume button and im glad i did

  • why does everyone on youtube, have to debate after such a brilliant song .

Just listen to the music and enjoy it :) lol

  • @breakingbisley

    it's a political song dude.

debate is to be expected i reckon.

  • what a song completly knocked me of my feet

  • One Solution, Revolution!

  • maggie sent the army out with police uniforms on to defeat the miners. she shot the belgrano in the back. that is what chinless wonders do. accept at your peril.

  • @showaddy11 The army have nothing to do with the police - that's why they now have armed police. I'd rather the Belgrano was shot in the back than my mates who were stopping the civilians in the Falklands from being 'disappeared' by the fascist dictators of Argentina.

  • "Have bled for your Countries and counted your dead."

Brilliant...saw him in 1986 and when he played this the hairs just stood up on the back of your neck. And he went into the bar straight away after his set and was talking to everyone. Top Man.

  • I'm not necessarily a socialist, but I do agree with Marx that unrestrained capitalism has caused more harm than it has good. Look at he industrial revolution. Because of unions and governments placing limits on the full reign of capitalism, we have weekends and holidays off, we no longer have child labor, we have maternity leave for women, and we have health benifits or workman's comp if we get injured.

  • Google libertarian socialism mates.

  • My granda was a coalminer and a unionist all his life. The tories are Still firmly rejected by Scotland. Proud of Gaughan, proud of scotland and proud to earn an honest wage

  • @Kedfagan this song s magic god bless your granpa

  • We don't call for Socialism because there isn't a single example for socialism working anywhere in the world. Look at western europe......england, france, germany, sweden....they are all going bankrupt and are shadows of their former selves......our system isn't perfect but it is better and anything else...Go Capitalism!

  • @what999is999 go but six feet underground , some of your points are damn right you know? but i think that we must left behind the things that doesnt work, capitalism its one of those, we must build something new, and better, it sounds a little bit like an utopia, but hell , we are humans, we have the brains, we must get rid of the parasites and build a better future for all

  • Comment removed

  • @what999is999

I was going to go into a long bullet pointed diatribe about why you're wrong, but I thought I might point out your most obvious misconception. There are no socialist societies in Western Europe, whether measured by economy or political ideals. Granted there is a modicum welfare system which is fast disapearing but thats near universal. Only the world's biggest richest superpower likes to have the highest childhood mortality rate in the developed world. (Thats the US by the way)

  • @SP00NS86

If you're basing a socialist society on political ideals then I would argue that Scotland is pretty darn close.

  • What a song. Why aren't men like this national heroes instead of eejits like those disgusting Cowell-produced pop mice?

  • ik vind dit leuk

  • One of the best songs ever written or performed - Go on Dick - I last saw you at Partick Halls many years ago

    Cheers

  • Why can't I find "Willie o' Winsbury" on YouTube? One of my OMG life changing tunes.!!!

  • Really?? I will NEVER believe that. Certainly there are plenty of Reli. Right idiots, but I don't feel they are following Christ. They certainly SAY they are, but they're as reactionary and stick in the mud as the Sanhedrin, Pharisees, and Saducees of Yeshua the Redemeer's day. "Cause ONLY war and suffering??" I resent that. If you had said they caused suffering and still do, i would agree, but when you say they only cause suffering I must disagree.

  • senecadarwin- atheist. Thought that would be obvious. Every grown-up person is an atheist. Atheism underpins Socialism and Gaughan's lyrics see those wonderful lines from Tom Paine's bones: 'throw off religion and monarchy it was written in Tom Paine's hand'

pie-in-the-sky is a reference to religion, used to motivate workers to fight for capitalists along with patriotism, pay attention to the lyrics.

You seem like a nice enough fellow- I hope your religion makes you and others happy.

  • The pie in the sky could be any one of a number of things, and Dick Gaughan is a fine enough songwriter to use the phrase to embrace them all. I think the point is that workers shouldn't allow people in power, be they priests or bosses or monarchs, to exploit them.

As a religious socialist, though I challenge your assertion that you can't have socialism and God (never mind that you can't believe in God if you're 'grown up').

  • the pie in the sky is reference to broken promises by factory owners and capitalists. I was trying to say that Christ was and is for the poor and downtrodden. I don't know what you mean by desert ramblings, unless you mean you are an atheist. Not that I care, but when I try and say I understand at least partially, and you say I'm cheapening it... Well, It makes me upset. If you think the answer to such abuse is violent revolution, think again. And read Animal Farm.

  • Isn't it the truth, brother ? People should remember the Beatitudes. Luke Chapter 1 verses 53 and 54- He has filled the hungry with good things.

He has sent the rich away empty. He has given help to Israel, his servant, that he might remember mercy, Matthew Chapter 5 verse 6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

  • its amazing how this song can be so easily applied to my country too...

ive never heard of this guy, i just happened o click it but i like this song.

is that two guitars or is he just really making it sound that cool? :)

  • sounds like a bouzouki to me

  • i see parliament are trying to push through new legislation which will force employers to pay a 'living wage'...let's see how that goes, but i approve as long as they arent going to take the piss over what they define as a 'living wage'...

i'm only 18, y'know? so employers see the oppur-chance-ity to take advantage of naivety...i see it every day with my workmates who toil away into overtime and still are only paid minimum wage.

it disgusts me. gentlemen, welcome to 1984.

  • makes the haiirs stand up this one

  • Isnt it a shame, we all have 1 thing in common, we are WORKERS, who sweat, bleed & ache from the same labor, but we are forced 2 hate each other because the fiscal elite need 2 protect their wealth from each other & use the media they own 2 segregate us through propaganda and lie's.

I'm not calling 4 socialism, i'm just saying a Working class society could be a utopia if we could just stand tall as brothers & sisters. Imagine the society we could build with hard work and no overhead debt.

  • @dudelabowski6969

    well,i'm calling for socialism

    peace and love

    pete flooded out of cockermouth

  • @peteaberdeen an so am I!!!!

  • @SocailistRae Likewise.

  • well the one strength we workers possess, other than the fact that the rest of the world depends on us, is our stubbornness, and rightfully so. if they want to treat us like mules, then we'll act like mules at every oppurtunity.

  • WORKERS UNITE. I always stand up against corruption and ignorance. Shame more people are nothing more than mere robots. They do not know the endless possibilities about being human. A few points to add to your good post is that religion and fascism are two other factors that stop this race from being pure. I see resources as a major problem as we dont embrace pure resources and rely far too much of resources that make profit that WILL run out and also harm our planet. FUCK GREED

  • I like your view lad, but why not just go all the way to socialism? And please let's not start talking about the USSR again... We're all workers, all brothers! Workers of the world UNITE!

  • @TheiosJohnLowBap

Because I dont belive that through tax redistribution, people who do not work should recieve my hard earned money or live as well as I have worked to achieve

Where I live in the USA I see 2many people that are happy 2 let the Govt pay their rent, health care, & better food then I can afford with the sweat of my brow, and in return they sleep all day & sell drugs or rob & steal & have better cars & clothes then I could ever hope for. BUT, at least I have pride, they do not

  • @dudelabowski6969 fine speach man!

but as long as we all try to improve our personal lifes,as long as were full of greed

towards our neighbours and as long as were trying to protect our own breed, such

    a society remains a dream....

  • @dudelabowski6969 Well said my brother. So sad. So true. For the unions! For the workers! For the People! Cheers from Down Under.

  • @dudelabowski6969

    Why NOT call 4 socialism?

  • @dudelabowski6969 im 22 and voting trade union and socialist alliance as i did last time! lest do this

  • @elmundo88 voting today

  • @dudelabowski6969 you got it right. a working class society. everything you are saying is describing anarcho-syndicalism. the purest way to run a country in my opinion

  • @dudelabowski6969

A working class utopian society would be socialism. Socialism is not a dirty word though its name has been invoked by some pretty filthy people. It's just a tendancy in human nature to care and co-operate with others.

  • @SP00NS86

Socialism is a economic doctrine, communism would be the word if you were describing a society based on the concepts of equality and justice born from a socialist economy.

  • @Thuglordrpt Is that somehow coming from the horrible notion of a 'meritocracy'? Not having born with economic merit I find the concept of everyone to look after themselves pretty disturbing.

  • @SP00NS86 yea to put people before profit. in america tho---imagine that! won't ever happen. unfortunately. sick n sad state of affairs in the corrupt land of the have's and the have nots. every selfish dog 4 himself in america the lost.

  • @SP00NS86 Indeed.

  • @SP00NS86 LIKE the NSDAP or CIA.... I mean the CIA Are NSDAP reincarnated. They might kill us now...

  • @SP00NS86 to care for others in a government sanctioned way. government is not the same as individual care care for others. look at communism, supposedly the ultimate way to care for the people.....didn't work. there needs to be another guiding moral force than just the collective will because people get corrupted easily and there is no safeguard to make all people equal with one another. someone will always take more and someone will always get the short end of the stick.

  • @bandcreator28

In my own mind, a society which allows an individual to fufill his own potential to the degree to which he wishes to, while also caring for those that require care, would be an ideal world. But try and conceive of a system which accomodates this while being able to restrict an individual or a group for accumulating power at expense of the community and you've trumped all the people before us who went bald thinking about it. It's utopian, but an ideal is a better goal than none!

  • @SP00NS86 I disagree mostly that government allows us to fulfill our potential. it can restrict people more than it can empower them. in principle it is meant to serve and protect its people for health and security. but in the end it is people who make the businesses and have a livelyhood which drives society. government cannot creat this forward motion in society. it can only help to create an ideal situation for growth. it is not the creator of growth in and of itself.

  • @dudelabowski6969 Yes, and we're also taught to fight and kill workers of other nations. War is a very clever political weapon used to keep workers in their place.

  • @nacho1560 Quotes from Big John McClean one of 'The Red Clydesiders'....talking to an anti conscription meeting WW1 ... 'A bayonet now thats a weapon with a working man at either end'.....'Nationalism now that's braggrds fiction'

  • @dudelabowski6969 Personally I wouldn't say socialism is anything to be ashamed of, and that is essentially what you're describing.

  • @dudelabowski6969 well said. I'd take socialism over capitalism anytime.

  • @losing2woody You need a trip to Cuba - I was appaled at how my 'socialist dream' actually works in reality.

  • @yahoochiewatchie Given that the U.S.A have a blockade on cuba making the revolution a living dream come true impossible, its no surprise they're stuck in the 50's.

Plus you need leaders who are happy to live like their people.

  • @dudelabowski6969 Yo, don't be scared to say socialism. What you just described is socialism, actually communism. Don't let right wing propaganda deter you from idolizing or agreeing with socialism/communism. FUCK CONSERVATIVES. I'm out

  • @dudelabowski6969 Sorry man, that would be a quixotic notion. Inevitably, a worker or two would get greedy and exploit his brothers and sisters. Why do I say that? Because that's one of the problems with the unions in this country. The workers bust there ass, paying into the union and the union bosses get the extra money.

  • @bizmonkey007 not sure if you read but posted down the line that i changed my name. Anyway, very very true. I was seriously hurt at work, run over by heavy machinery, the Union higher ups swore I'd get my job back if i got better. I busted my ass for 16mos to get back and when it was time to push for my job, the Union turned their back on me. 7 years of due's for nothing. I dont know what to think anymore, but I do know capitalism is liberty and to an American liberty is paramount to a handout.

  • @dudelabowski6969 That is socialism comrade.

  • @dudelabowski6969 stfu noob stop getting all sentimental to look cool

you's probably one of those fags that pretend their irish

  • scots hate the irish.. irish hates the scots... im english, you all hate me :D fuck knows why... im half danish... danish hate the english, so that means you guys hate med, and im forced to hate myself d; im pretty fucked eh ? :) great sonq

  • LOC - you are talking shite. Scots do not hate irish and vice versa. Nobody hates any others exclusively. My mum is irish and married a scotsman. My brother married a chinese girl. My uncle married an english woman. My sister has an english husband. I nearly married a turkish girl. Don't take things so seriously, friend.
