IIHyRaXII - I think it's the mark of a truly great guitar player, if you can hear a riff, and just know it's that guitarist. I also think a guitarist is truly great if they can play, and you can hear the guitar ring without hearing the guitarist strumming. Every now and then, Jerry manages to do that. Slash is actually really great at that. I love listening for that. I never knew Jerry had such a nice tone to his voice until I listened to his solo stuff.

@blackmexican100 That's such an ignorant statement I feel sorry for you. I love and miss Layne too -- he was and still is irreplaceable and nobody knows that more than JC, Mikey and Sean, they all loved him more than we'll ever know.
Why must people dwell in the past when it comes to Alice in Chains? Jerry Cantrell was a cornerstone of the band as much as Layne and the other guys and he always will be. He's keeping Layne's memory alive more than haters like you can imagine. Have some respect!
