  • Awesome ! Very fast, and cute ! I will definitely be using all your great tips. Thanks for sharing.

  • @IndigoBleuHarpist Thanks for watching!

  • Thank you for your wonderful tutorial. Hopefully this will get me started with InDesign!

  • See how it says paragraph, paragraph styles, character and character styles on the side at 6:30.. mine only show paragraph styles and character styles :-( someone plz help me out

  • @imerk69 I’m using the default CS3 workspace. To see what I see you can go to Window>Workspace>Default Workspace. If that doesn’t work you can manually add character and paragraph to that area under Window>Types & Tables and click on what you want. If the pallette appears and isn’t attached to the dock on the right, you can click and drag them to any location. Hope that helps!

  • @designlikeapro thank you so mush.. thats why your the teacher and we the students

  • That really helped with my feature article for year 12 :) Thank you so much!

  • I've watched several of your tutorials...I am blown away...you should have been my professor at the university...YOU ROCK!

  • @1kivakarmen Thank you so much! That means a great deal and makes the time producing the tutorials very worth it, even if they aren't released as often as I'd like!

  • why is it when i try to get rid of the blue outline of the text box it doesnt disappear? Im trying to put it on top of a coloured box and it shows the blue outline. How do i get rid of it?

    Thanks

  • @specialdiot Check and make sure the box doesn't have a stroke. If you are certain it doesn't, then the blue line is probably the program's way of letting you know a text box is there. A quick way to make sure is to hit "w' to print preview your project. If the lines disappear, they are guide lines, not stroke lines.

  • Great tutorial. Thanks for the demo and the InDesign source file.

  • Im doing a school magazine for my grade and i could really need some tips or help designing it. And i was just wondering if you could make a tutorial or something on that. (Or maybe you already made something like that and you could just show it)

    That would be awesome :)

  • Excellent tut! Well paced, clear, funny at times ...

Can't you do ALL tuts on the interwebz? ;)

    Thanks!
