I have a Yamaha X1, which is 111cc 4 stroke. Stock it does a 16 sec quarter mile in decent conditions, top speed about 90mph. And that bike is a far cry from a superbike. I could easilly see 12 secs with upgrades. Cannot compare bikes to cars, and especially do not ever doubt the potency of a small engine if set up right!!!! Check the drag scooter vids, they on average hit 90mph in 6 seconds flat. THATS AS FAST AS A MCLAREN F1!!!!!!!!!

I have owned many 50cc bikes and live in a land restricted to less than 150cc bikes. A 50cc bike CAN sound like this. Perform like this is not impossible either, especially with nitrous if that is true. But i thought 2strokes could not use nitrous? The catch with such small bikes as we have, is they accelerate damn fast, but will not top 70 - 100mph. With a 175cc kit, they CAN and do top 100mph easy. My Yamaha RX100cc did a 5sec 0-60mph and could do over 95mph with ease, 80mph up hills.

12.12@ 106 mph.....it is NOT a 50. That said...its got some fucking balls, my car has a 5L V8 and thousands spent on it and im lucky to pull a high 12sec pass. Check it out, search Falcon GT flamethrower.

lol yeah a 50cc right more like the kx420 cc 2 stroke,also the gearbox of the 50 would not got to that speed,you would kill the engine to the piston can only go up and down so fast

Funny thing is, I know the builder of this bike, and it is a 500cc CR500 engine, with extended swingarm. It ran a low 12-sec 1.4 mile. It was built by Joe Huminsky of Team Screams. Don't know if they're still in business. He did an excellent job on my (now sold) 200cc YSR conversion
