Desde finales de los 90 el común de los albumes solo han sido lanzados acá en Chile en formato CD, por ende se hizo una costumbre (no solo acá, sino en muchos países de sudámerica) el usar la palbra CD como sinónimo de disco (album en este caso), las ediciones en vinilo son tan pocas que solo son para coleccionistas.

Por eso, acá CD se emplea como sinónimo de album, hecho que radica en una costumbre de hace más de 10 años.
