I think he meant that he wanted Bush to stay out of Venezuela. I really think no one should comment on these things or form an opinion unless you know whats going on, and what one sees in the media is always misleading. This is why I rerally dont get myself involved in any of these matters. You could end up arguing about something that isnt even true to begin with.

Listen, if The United States of America were to ever leave South America and/or everywhere, all the people would be crying for the US to help and come back. The US isn't imperialistic, we're just keeping our country safe so we can say our opinions either liberal or conservative. and maybe we should leave and let the poor die in other irresponsible countries, we have enough poor here in the US.If we were truly imperialistic South America would easily fall to the United States. it is what it is.

As for being so brave, get real. If the US really wanted him gone by any means possible, he would be gone by now. All this talk of attempted assassinations is just insane delusion on Chavez' part. Despite the myths, our government does have certain principles, even when dealing with hostile governments.

Watch "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" and you will see that the US government failed at killing Chavez. The people of Venezuela beat the CIA backed coup. And no, our government does not have principles other than doing as much as it can get away with while maintaining control.

Hugo Chavez is a peasant and a tyrant. If he is so beloved, then why does he feel the need to change the Venezuelan constitution and shut down opposition newspapers and opposition political parties? Is he afraid of people in his country speaking out against him? Why is he promoting anti-semitism against the long standing Jewish community in Venezuela? Why did his referendums fail the first time he tried to pass them?

1.-the 4° venezuelan constitucion was a useles piece of paper put down by pupet goverments. 2.- Chavez has never shut down an opposition newspapers or opposition political parties. 3.-he has never promot anti-semitism against anyone. 4.-venezuela has had 3 referendums, chavez won the first two and lost the tirhd. 5.- the reason it fail is because the mayority of the disagree with the changes of the constitution. That's what we do in a democratic country. sorry for the English
