  • I love the talk about how awesome the camcorder is.

  • 1997... I too was watching X-Men every saturday when this video was made.

  • @TheBrokenCage HERE HERE!

  • Ah... My old nemesis, 240p.

  • Wow where was this comicon

  • hahahah, Listen at 2:32, the Guy Explaning his Camera at 1800.00with super VHS input outputs. and Auto Focus lol..and it can Handle Anything lol..

  • Ah, good ol' days, when Marvel was Marvel COMICS and wasn't bought by Disney...

  • @PanterAmetal100 Marvel is death since 1990.. :( I miss the old characters and his writers.

  • @jesubono For me Marvel is dead since Marvel Comics were bankrupt and reopened as just Marvel. Back in the day when i had no Internet, i was watching Spider-Man movie and first thing i noticed was the absence of Comics word, so it was just Marvel. I thought - WTF???

  • @jesubono Dude, most of those old characters are still around and most of the old writers that are still working today have turned into a joke.

  • @123PullOut321 most of the most admired writers of today are jokes themselves...

  • @jesubono Well I suppose that would depend on your definition of "admired." I don't think there ARE a lot of admired writers today in general but there are certainly some brilliant ones out there. Which "admired" modern writers would you consider "jokes?"

  • Another good one is at agunstreetgirl all the drawings there were also fantastic.

  • what a nice guy

  • it's so nice to see he talks to the kid's gets down to there level you can tell the kid wasn't shy around him ether

  • john romita sr is just as cool as the silver surfer if not cooler

  • ooh Super VHS outputs :P

  • John Romita Sr. is one of greats.

  • I was at this convention and due inpart to my wonderful mother and how well she can talk her way into and out of any sitiation i had lunch with John and his wife that day... we went to the pizza place in that mall right down from the con... I still have the sketch he made for me...

  • good ol Ring-A-Ding Romita never takes short-cuts, or atleast if he does it certainly doesn't look like it!

  • Romita Sr and Jr are both phenominal artists but my taste for the classics always leaves me craving for Sr.

  • Absolutely incredible. Romita proves once again that he is easily one of the greatest comic book artists of all time, and definitely THE greatest at drawing faces. I've seen him do sketches like this in person, and the ease and total mastery with which he does them is STAGGERING.

  • thats awesome

  • the next time you make a video make sure we can here what the artist is saying.please.thank you.

  • That is Awesome !

  • One of the greatest comic book artists ever, those that want you own everything they made up there with giants like Jack Kirby and Alex Toth.

  • woah!!!

  • He seems like the kindest and coolest guy.

  • it is great how he just knows exactly what he is doing without any referance.

  • great information about the camera being used, thanks

  • There's John Romita drawing and talking away and we can't hear or see what he's drawing and talking about because the knob filming him is more interested in describing the crap that his camera can do. Lucky thing this guy had nothing to do with the filming of the moon landing. The World would have heard his description of the camera work instead of the "one small step for man..." speech. It's a wonder the cameraCLOWN didn't ask John Romita to film him.

  • haha. one small step for man, but not for my new takanashi 9000-gx. with extra pixels and memory.

  • Just beautiful! What a sweet guy too!

  • Instant depth! No other company touches Marvels' bullpen of artists' quality from the sixties. IMHO. :D

  • This is the different of those artists and the ones today. Artists like RomitaSR only cared to make the art speak for itself. Nowadays? Its like a soap opera running around of burned bridges and internet attacks.

I enjoy some of the art toay, but its with artists of he caliber of RomitaSR that one actually learns something.
