@MrMasterJD Unfortunately Puyo Puyo is not related to Nintendo, Konami or Sega so it, unfortunately, could not have been in SSBB. Even if this was in MBM, the original was from this game.

@MastaGambit: Ever since the Puyo Pop series, it IS related to SEGA now. Even this music is reused and nicely arranged in the (sadly Japan-only D: ) 15th Anniversary title. So I would have justified high hopes for that xD .

Puyo Puyo. MBM was a spinoff of Puyo Puyo to be based on the Sonic characters since Sonic during the time, in America, was so popular.

The Satan Battle BGM was the VS. Mode music in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.

The MBM version had harder percussion and a more 'rock-ish' instrumentation.

MBM also used a techno remix of this for the 'Panic' theme when your area overfills.

Oddly the 8 bit version of MBM didn't use either versions (it used the Scenario Mode themes instead) despite the GG Puyo it was ported from having a version of this track.
