I had a dog called Buddy too! He was a German Shephard crossed with a Rotweiler..miss him much. Dogs=Buddies.

Please don't take it the wrong way when I say that I'd guess he's not a pure pedigree?? His build and stance is all wrong for the breed... Perhaps a bit of blood hound hence the deep head??

I'm sure you'll agree that there's no breed quite like a Basset!! I've had them for almost 30yrs (I'm almost 30 lol) and my parents a further 15yrs 'before me'. I'll never have another breed...
