I love my dad the same way I did when I was a little girl so I still talk to him like I am. Being a teenager the only men I believe I need in my life are Jesus and my dad. This song was written after giving his little girls a bath and they were being little stinkers and how he had to slow down and enjoy every little moment because they go by so fast like it did with his eldest daughter who was I think 20 at the time. His youngest daughters death was tragic and I could not imagine having to deal with that but this song was written before her accident.
