Today is november 10th 2011. Michigan state just receive their last commitment in the 2012 class. How do my spartan fans feels about our chances of going into another final four?
@jamare456 I think'll we can get there. We got Thornton stepping up more and he's being a pretty much a go-to shooter. Then with Green and Appling doing what they do and Nix doing well too. All we need is a talented, well balanced team like we did in 08-09, and we got it. I think we're pretty close.
I remember finding out that I had tickets to the final 4 in my hometown of detroit and feeling so excited, but when I found out that I was gonna see my spartans play 2,,,,,holy shit that was special.
This year wasn't the greatest, but we had our reasons. Kalin and Durrell, thanks for all the memories, the final fours, the big ten championships. Thanks Durrell for the MOP award and for taking us to the 2010 Final Four. Thanks Kalin for a B10 POY award and the 2009 Final Four. IMO Kalin's name is headed to the rafters of the Breslin Center. I'm gonna miss you guys. Good Luck. GO GREEN!

Good luck this year from a UNC fan! Just so you know, most of us are hoping that if it isn't us who wins it all this year (which, yeah, is pretty dang likely-lol) we hope it's not Kansas or UK, but MSU. So we're pulling for you every game we're not playing for you. Great program with an awesome basketball tradition.
i have tremendous respect for Roy Williams and UNC. I cant tell you how disapointed i was that the championship game wasn't that close. i was at the game, and if we (MSU) had won it would've been THE moment for our program. But we lost to a clearly better team that came back to win it all, so major props have to be given to the seniors to do that. I'm hoping this year that we can pull off what you guys did last year.

Michigan State's program is no doubt the best in the Big Ten. Purdue is overrated, The Illinois Fighting Illini are extreme underachievers, and Michigan thinks they're legit when they have one decent season where they go like 21-14 so they really werent that good anyway. This video makes me proud to be a spartan fan. I hope state kicks michigan's a** tommorow! A blowout would be nice just so that i can rub it in the face of every U-M fan.
I currently attend the University of Iowa, but prior to attending here, I was a lifelong MSU fan. Iowa is going to have the worst team in the Big Ten this year, and it has always been my dream to attend MSU, i just couldn't afford out of state tuition. I will root for MSU this coming spring, and hope they bring respect to the conference. Very well made video and it sends chills down my spine everytime I watch it. GO GREEN!
I was a freshman when we won in 2000. I look forward to the beginning of the season every year. This season I watched all the games from the sports bar I work at in Brooklyn. Being the only college BBall fan there with any true connection to his/her team, they got a kick out of me being passionate the whole time.
Come time for the tourney, I filled out my bracket and picked them all the way to the finals, where I had them losing to UNC. Bittersweet that I did such a thing, but I won my money.
Nobody was going to beat North Carolina this year. This was a team to be damn proud of. 2nd best team in the entire country despite never being considered that high during the year.
They had the hearts of champions. Next year, they might have the hardware to go with it.
I agree, I went to the Uconn game and theNC game. But after watching UNC all year and then watching them just destroy Nova I knew it was going to take a perfect storm for us "MSU" to be UNC. Props to UNC they deserved it, they truely were the best team in college basketball! thats said what a run the Spartans took us on this year, and next year its our turn!
