When the gene that governs intelligence was removed yes the mice showed obvious signs of a drop in intelligence, however when said mice were raised in a more stimulating environment the differences in intelligence were no longer noticeable.. Also look at feral children raised by dogs, their brains actually go through real physical change and behave as dogs..
