It is freaky getting grabbed by those hand D: I try to always take the upper route and avoid going down most of the time...this level is interesting but also unique at some points the music is great here too and I'm glad Nights was included here...I really like the hevean part :)

You know I always had the theory that Omochao was a real lady, not just a robot chao like she appears in Sonic Heroes and Sonic Free Riders. I thought of that metal chao as some kind of answering machine replaying her voice whereas she's busy elsewhere, e.g. doing her job as the mayor of Grand Metropolis or something... xD

@Overhazard well you're right, officially Omochao is referred to as a 'he'. But this doesn't bother me that much since officially Omochao is just that robot and (at least in my language it's like that) since robots are actually genderless, they rather tend to be referred to as 'he' due to the male domination of language. Besides, Omochao is voiced by two women, Rebecca Hoenig and Laura Bailey, so I think calling Omochao 'she' isn't quite the most impossible thing to do.

Hm, never thought about comparing the Heaven/Hell bits of this stage with the Chao Gardens... also I swear I've heard Omochao refer to NiGHTs as both male and female at different times, though I also thought when I played one time he referred to Shadow as a she, so the clips might just be confused sometimes, with or without a genderless being in the mix. =P

hey overhazard, replying to the comment you left me, i can imagine all the thousands of dead people trying to get out of the pit. By the way, the River Styx is in the Underworld, in which i do have to agree with you in the description.Oh, and one more thing, the river is not only filled with spirits, but lost hopes. The spirits are sorted into 3 areas, the fields of asphodel, isle of the blest, elysium and Tatarus, where the titan lord kronos is held. I wonder if the genie guy is kronos himself.

Usually, SEGA tries to avoid using any pronouns to describe NiGHTS at all. If possible, you can look into the manual for either NiGHTS games to see for yourself. I think this was unavoidable and someone just picked something.

Most likely, the Japanese version didn't have to deal with this as its pronoun system works much differently.

i rented Sonic Riders, but I wasn't really good. It took me forever to beat the first Sonic race in the Story mode, and I gave up at the second one.

I think my problem is that I never been much for performing tricks, so I was running out of air.

The problem is that the game's AI will perform like experts the moment you start playing. Combined with its very complicated mechanics, it makes for one tough game to get into.

The computers take all the shortcuts they can, have unlimited air, and perform tricks perfectly, and they start doing it from the very start.

After playing Sonic Riders: ZG for a while, I forgot how brutal the AI in this game was. The difficulty is almost to the point of insanity.

I find the AI in Zero Gravity's Free Races to be tougher as they begin with all of their gear parts unlocked. Though they did cheat a lot in the original Sonic Riders too.

There aren't any Chao in this course (other than Omochao and Cheese), but I personally do find them to resemble the Chao Garden in Sonic Adventure 2. Just...many many times bigger.

Now this is the track. Even though the next two have a bit more nostalgia and creativity, going from hell to heaven and back again is enough to make this track epic.

That along with a choatic BGM is enough to make Digital Dimension a winner.

This track looks really cool. The details are excellent. When you were grabbed by the demons in lap 2, I didn't know if you'd catch up again.

As for the Christian references, I think everyone has their ideas of what Heaven and Hell look like whether they actually exist or not. Some think of them as fictional places while others have their fantasies about how they actually appear. As long as the game doesn't say that YOU will end up in one of two places, I see nothing wrong with it.

Of course, Super Paper Mario DID take it one step further and sent Mario into the Underwhere after he and his partners were finished off in Chapter 7. This is the forces driving Mario's universe (or multiverse, it seems) though, and nothing is explicitly Christian.

Also, I prefer to think of Satan wearing a business suit, talking formally, and running Hell like a business.
