What you're seeing is a type of lens flare that occurs with the camera aboard the STEREO satellites. Depending on where an object (such as Mercury) appears in the image, the light sometimes bends and concentrates into transient shapes that come and go as the satellite moves. It's the same phenomenon that creates that large vertical line through the center of Mercury. Besides, a UFO the size of a planet would certainly be having noticeable gravitational effects on Mercury and the sun. :)

A friend of mine looked this up on her telescope and took a picture. She verified this is a real object, just as this video shows. What it is, IDK.
